When I was a F2P back in 2016, I deleted my Pyrovision and Gibbus hats. It was not because I didn’t like them, but because I ran out of space and had to choose between getting more gun options or just being stuck to 1 load out. Little did I know those were irreplaceable, and now I can’t troll as easily in public servers lol… :(
About spy disguises, they each have a use. Scout is used when you want to hide or avoid being noticed in the first place, because scout has the smallest model and doesn't lower your speed. Soldier and heavy are used rarely to catch opponents off-guard, because slow speed is such a detriment that many don't suspect those classes to be spies. Sniper and engineer are used mostly when behind enemy lines, because they raise least suspicion for not constantly shooting and being in that area. Medic with medigun out is good when approaching low health enemies, because their need to get heals clouds their judgment from suspecting you're a spy. Demo and pyro are good when approaching enemy frontlines from behind the enemy lines, because they are most often with the rest of their team. Spy is used when you are behind your own team, because it doesn't lower your movement speed when walking to the front and is the most plausible disguise in that position.

There are a lot of guides and videos out there that can help you find a better set up. Tip 2: Achievement weapons and random dropped weapons are not automatically better than stock. Until one day I was running around with the southern hospitality and pomson and couldnt figure out why I wasnt playing as well as I used to:)

The wrote me back within 1-2 days and restored all of my items. I was suprised of their speed. So guys, go ahead and just ask them

I wouldn't have had said this in the past but on the current situation with the modern TF2 community feeling entitled to receive free shit from valve and crying on twitter when told no and the bot problem who only affects casual... I would say to pick any other modern game. If anyone decides to engage gaming activities with TF2 (A video game released 16 years ago) of which I played 12 years of it.
1. Don't play on casual, medals and long queue times are worthless, optimize your time to PLAY the game not to idle in queues or getting spawncamped, no reason to spend hours joining at the end of the map around 5 minutes to end over and over, there is no reward in beating bots and their rewards for "beating" you are not permanent or lasting, if you disconnect and find another server you will be playing which is the main goal back in 2008 - 2012 era, remember you are not stupid like the bots. 2.If you play on casual be aware that casual has the most special side of the community which is composed of reddit, if you want to search more mature and less annoying and less loud players you could go to community servers, otherwise understand the casual environment, you will not be playing with a team of 12, instead, you will be playing on a group of 12 players of same colors all roaming with their own mind and hopefully winning by the incompetence of the other team, expect zero communication and expect mic spamming low neuronal sound waves. 3.If you have decided to enter the community tab, avoid Versus Saxton Hale, Surf, Death Run, Slender Fortress, Zombie Fortress and any other potential custom game modes, you will first play vanilla maps in order to learn the game, avoid unofficial maps as not only may they have missing textures or take ages to download but they may be incomplete or filled with exploits, engaging in custom game modes will download a lot of files to your computer, over 12 years none where malware but said custom content is confusing from a game developer stand point, like terrible logic, awful lighting and just straight up terrible particle effects.
