Alan is by far the worst player on the table. Remember when he spent a round of combat to spend 6 seconds learning about yeti acting behavior. Then had his character changed because he couldn't be bothered to learn the game and still doesn't learn or use anything Rob feeds him. Alan should be a guest player like Hamish or Byron because they defintely put more effort than Alan does.

Rob's boss encounters are top notch. I've learned that lesson myself about cool mechanics that have me doing a lot of maths during my turn, but sometimes they are needed to tell a good story!

Rob needs to have a long talk with Adam about how concentration works, and how you can only use one concentration spell at a time. Then he needs to have that exact same long talk with himself in the mirror because he ALWAYS forgets and lets Adam cast multiple concentration spells 🤦
The fact that this has almost hit 200 episodes is crazy. There's no such thing as too long of a series! This is like the one piece of dnd campaigns to me now lol

Adam's dice seem to be reflecting the lights too much. If you can't hang a diffuser over Adam's chair to interrupt it slightly, they do make matte finish dice with high contrast. Might make it easier to see. Could also try some ultra matte polyurethane varnish to reduce the reflectivity of the dice.
Amazing episode once again!! It was a little hard for me as a non-native-English-speaking Dutch girl to keep up with what was happening at about 21:50 🙈 Rowan and Alan talking over Ben and Robert talking was a challenge, had to rewatch it a couple times 🙈 the subtitles helped a lot though!!! Still, you guys are awesome and I was laughing out loud literally a couple times, so thanks for that!! 💞

That vision Bob got is very interesting. Assuming it is a vision of the future from Kelothac's POV, it implies that he is aware of his actions, but not in control, kinda like being trapped in a body with two minds, which is also very reminiscent of how every one of his Warlocks has been. Perhaps the Dark Lands have had an effect of creating a split personality in Kelothac, one which is full of hatred and a craving for vengeance, while the true Kelothac is still in there, trying to fight for control and avoid a cataclysmic event... Or maybe it's nothing, who knows.
Just spent the last week binge watching this series, great job Rob on creating such an enthralling story, even if the players mess it all up lol love you all, can't wait for next week

At 3:00 when Alan says, “I cast holy…” my mind went to “sh**” instead of hand grenade after all that damage dealt to Rowan on two sword swings. Should definitely be a cleric spell! Maybe that spell powers Rowan’s new ring?
Minor detail but im pretty sure the dragon has 50hp when cast at lvl 5 not 60. Also the giant should be rolling dex saving throws for the dragon breath. And once more baradun casually concentrating on two spells 😂😂

Ben needs some magic items to keep up with the rest of the group. Greg and Baradun being full casters are reaching god mode. And Bodger is carrying around a legendary artefact. I would try and help bob achieve reaction based attacks for 2 sneak attacks or some additional ways to guarantee a critical. Other than the club fight where he could disarm traps hes never had the opportunity to excell.
I love how everybody except Ben plays their characters stereotypically. Baradun, the cocky sorcerer, Greg the cleric who hates his party, and Bodger the dumb barbarian. And then there is Bob. The rogue who just doesn't wanna die.

Poor bob, i think he need an enchantment like a bow that never misses. If he roll enough attack, hit like normal. If he failed the attack, still roll damage but half or quarter it. At least he can consistently deal damage over time and not pure 0 😂

I'm glad someone else noticed this stuff. I know he's got a lot to focus on, but Adam really needs to learn his limitations...
I assumed he cast it at level 6 since 56 damage left it with 4 hp. However, it should have had 3 rend attacks at level 6.
That's why he's the high sorceror. Rob can balance the game to match though, when it's not PvP

Correction; Greg readied Holy Weapon to be cast when the hammer is in range, which would occur slightly *before* it hits him.
@@sparkselm173 I remember that it requires touching. I don't know the rule book description for now, but at least this is an established lore in previous episodes. (And I imagine it would be a proper spell casting move, not touching with any random way.)

@@christopherauvenshine2092 Baradun. He cast hold monster, a concentration spell, after telling his dragon to attack, which is also concentration and technically not supposed to go until after his turn.

Poor bob, i think he need an enchantment like a bow that never misses.
If he roll enough attack, hit like normal.
If he failed the attack, still roll damage but half or quarter it. At least he can consistently deal damage over time and not pure 0 😂
Just want to say once again just how much I absolutely love this series and am always sad to see an episode end! Here's an offering to the algorithm in the hopes it'll bless you well (or at least not bane you, since I assume it's more fiend than celestial!)
