I checked on Koso's website. And these gauges are compatible with every model of Bolt because they're pretty much all the same except for physical differences between certain models.
Great video! I bought the Koso one with the analogue tach but after seeing your video, I think I'll return it and get this one. It does way more for not much more money. How was it to see outside? Also, the tire feature, if its like the analogue Koso, it is used to calibrate the speedometer, not to tell you when your tires need replacing.
No, unfortunately I think the only way to get that in a Bolt would be some kind of added fuel gauge. This works off of the stock wiring and fuel level is not on there. I was was hoping for the same thing. Still has fuel light though.
The plug will fit tight without bending or cutting. It’s a small piece that just over hangs on the bracket. No structural use. We ended up using a grinder to cut for a clean fit.
Hm, interesting. Stock Bolt does not show us RPMs. But KOSO uses the same connector. So, how the tachometer was implemented? Or you did not show us how to install tachometer wire harness? Or Yamaha has already provided the connector w/o actually reading from it? :D
All already built into the stock computer. Stock gauge just doesn’t show anything other than speed. So when you plug in this one it will show you everything.
@@getlarsonlosthi, do you know how to use the trip A and trip B? I am doing the same thing as I did with stock meter and it does not work, I mean I enter the trip A and long pushing the Reset button but trip A as well as trip B do not go to Zero km.
Thinking about getting this but I’ve read people get an error message after a while “Err 1” or something. Can anyone confirm if there’s problems or not?
Thanks for this. I really like your style of taking. Kinda laid back and full of good info not padded with nonsense. Tempted to get one of these now!
Glad you liked the video

It works pretty good in the sun. Still get some glare, but nothing like before.
@getlarsonlost2736 excellent thanks! I'm still waiting for mine to show up in the mail.
does it have a fuel level indicator?

Canadians are in America too.
Does the speedometer also work on a 2014 model?
It should. Check with their website tho
Towards the end what did you say about the bracket? You had to bend it?

ok gotcha, ill keep that in mind once mine comes in, great video btw really appricate it@@getlarsonlost
Can u show a picture of what you grinded?

Same question
It’s all already there. The stock just does not show the tac or any readings other than speed.

Once plugged in you get all the readings the computer is taking in, but not shown. Like rpm and temp

Hi My motorcycle is SCR950. Is Koso DL-04B compatible with SCR950?
It should. I would just check their website for sure
@@getlarsonlost hi. I contacted the sellers. They say this device is compatible with SCR950. Thank you.
How do you know if your yamaha bolt is ABS or not? You skipped through ABS settings
You’d have to look it up. We turned off the setting because Seth’s 2015 does not have ABS.
I dont think any Bolt has abs. My 2023 doesnt.
My 23 RSpec does
us models dont come with abs supposably@@Skyhawk4362
