Poly-Glaze Foiling Sheets with Copic Markers

- Tonight, I shared a fun technique using our new Poly-Glaze Sheets and Copic Markers! I did some ink blending over the foil and accented some of the areas using the markers. You can use any kind of alcohol marker, water based markers and even some color pencil. After I finished coloring, I die cut the foiling sheet using some of our word dies to add a spot of sparkle and shine to tonight's card project!

Omgosh so these glaze sheets are AWESOME!! I tried ink blending over ur old version slimline toner card fronts, & as nice as it was it didn't completely rub off the foil....these glaze papers apparently DON'T do that! So AWESOME! Thanks soooooo much for bringing this product to us!!!! YES!!

This was so much fun to watch. I just finished watching on replay. Tom, the “argh u meant” was so funny! I really like this kind of foiling, it is why I got a laminator, however my teacher daughter uses it for a lot also. I have that die - the heart/ envelope and will get it out to cut from my foils. I loved how you added Copic colors to the swirls. After you used B21 I yelled "BINGO." I really want to get some of these foiling sheets. What a gorgeous blast of fun! The negative cut on the love die, so pretty, as are the letters. So glad I ordered the kit and polyglaze.

Gina, I love that you’re offering the foiling sheets, but I would like to know how they would work with A7 cards. I don’t particularly like A2 cards because they are so small. Any ideas about perhaps adapting your foiling sheets for A7 cards? Thanks…love all your ideas and products, and particularly, the highlights in your hair! Beautiful!!!

I used my royal sovereign laminator with poly glaze and it worked like a dream! I did let it heat up 20 minutes and only ran it through once!

I put the word dies on a diff magnet, numbered them in the order they are on the poly glaze sheets.

Does poly glaze come in liquid ?
I have very tiny spots the foil did not stick? I used a minc on setting 3?
Maybe try to up the heat. Or you can add a shim of cardstock underneath inside the folder to get more pressure. I can't speak for every foil and every laminator, however, teeny tiny spotting may happen but you won't see it like you will with black toner.

This type of machine seems to only use 'flat' things - can you use the metal 'die' type things that the Glimmer hot foil machine uses?
Not for this technique.
Do you have to have the foil completely flat, absolutely no wrinkles?
