Ashantis tried to liberate Ghana into federal republic, Dormaa, Techiman and Bechem formed alliance with Kwame Nkrumah to divide the Kingdom. This was the beginning of Ghana's problem. We should also not forget that Western region is the most minerally endowed region in Ghana, but doesn't match the development in the region. Imagine if they were managing their minerals.
