I don't see the appeal of risking the Million Dollar Question. You're blindly gambling $475,000 on a question you could very easily not know, with the upside only being to double your money. I could understand taking the bonus question gamble on the daily version where you'd be risking a much more modest sum with the potential to multiply your winnings by 10, but the bonus question gamble on the primetime version is a reckless gamble no one should really take.
They make it real specific too. That’s immediately what I thought too. It makes no sense at all to go for it just take the money yeah you could get it, but it’s significantly harder than the rest and it’s not worth it for the amount at-risk.
it makes sense if you're an expert in the field. I would blindly try any math question. because I would almost certainly get it right. u.s. history, though? they could ask something obscure. I have no idea about half the things that have happened last year, let alone since 1789 or 1783.
That’s not such a good idea because if they see the question before they decide to play it or not and they know the correct answer then it would be a dumb idea to walk away when they have an easy opportunity. It’s a much better idea to reveal it after the contestant decides

Because even if you are an expert, that doesn't mean that you're going to know every single detail or thing about the subject that you're supposed to be an expert in. No one knows everything about something. Science is a good example of this. There's plenty of times when Scientists thought they knew about something then they'd discovered something else about it that proved everything they thought they knew about it was absolutely wrong.
Megan did great I applaud her for going for the million dollar however that was a big gamble still she walked out with $25.000 she didn’t walk away with nothing so still I give her that !
