I'm loving this show so far! The action, the humor, the serious character development, the social commentary. The pacing and the writing is great, and the acting is top notch, as always! Looking forward to more! With regards to the police scene, I have personally had that happen to one of my best friends in high school when we were arguing about video game characters while walking home from McDonald's back in the late 80's. Almost exactly the way it went down here. Some cop driving by must've heard our argument through his open windows (it was summer) and he pulled over after passing us, backed up a bit and then got out. Needless to say, we were shitting our pants, thinking "What did we do? Oh crap" And this cop did exactly what this guy in the show did. Started asking me if I was okay, if I felt threatened, yadda yadda. It came down to me, half Hispanic/half Caucasian, having to defend my African-American friend from this cop who thought I was being assaulted or something. It was the first time I witnessed this kind of sneaky, subversive racism, and it left me perplexed and disgusted. My friend was pretty shook up, too. He'd been called the n-word and stuff, and learned to roll with it and just dismiss those kind of fools, but this kind of thing was new to him too. We were teenagers, so he got over it pretty quick (with a few choice cuss words between us about the cop) but after it was over and the cop left, we figured we'd better save our heated debates for the safety of our living rooms from now on!😉
I think he's mad bc he needed Falcon & Bucky as body shields in a way. Someone he can step over to get to a higher status. But since they weren't going for that they're a threat now, so he gave them that warning. Just a theory.
quick fact, the reason Bucky got pissed and said pull over when Lemar said his name was Battlestar was because in the comics after Lemar got super strength he joined "Bold Urban Commandos" aka Buckies and Lemar went by the name "Bucky". lol
Thats why i was in favor of Captain in Civil war, when the government took control of the superheroes, than bad things happen, I like that Sam said "we are FREE agents". Thats what heroes should be, free, to protect people and not be government controlled agents. And Walker in the comics, become a evil captain america, because he follow government orders without question.
From an interview with Malcolm Spellman, the Producer and Head Writer on the show: "The magic of embracing diversity in the writers room and having an almost all-Black staff allows you to tap into pop culture. I mean, Black folk are the masters of it, and when we get a shot, to do what we do, it is universal for everyone because our struggle and our point of view is a concentrated version of the greater human struggle." I don't think the writers are going to fool around or pull their punches.
6:15 off-topic but Struggle Soldier cut fresh af 🔥 My mood is Joe every time they say "NeW CapTAin MuRIcaaa" lol, I'm loving this show though! 3:04 I said the same thing; a lot of Sam's dialogue feels genuine when he speaks with other Black characters like some is improved/ad-libbed. It gives his character a lot more life and you know he's having fun. And I love the chemistry between him and Bucky. The action scenes are obviously dope, exciting, nicely paced, and well-shot for the genre. These 6 episodes are gonna feel too short for me when it's over (in a good way), just like WandaVision. Much needed character arcs that leave you wanting more. I read a comment somewhere that described perfectly for me: _"John Walker is a high-praised skilled soldier, a good soldier, but that doesn't mean that makes him a good Captain America."_ He's too much of a good soldier meaning he'll do whatever the government tell him to, which is his job, but also which is what they wanted (idk much about his comics character so I could be completely wrong with how he's done in the MCU). Steve was different, honorable, and heart (and wasn't a puppet to the government; wasn't afraid to question it), and this is why JW feels like just a mascot (only chosen because of his abilities and commitment). Although I will admit he's pretty good with throwing that shield; I'd be lying to myself if I didn't compliment that. Now we get Zemo! Loved the reactions.
I think John Walker can toss the shield like that despite not having powers because the shield was designed and built specifically for Sam (who also doesn't have powers) in the other timeline by Steve's instruction. Wouldn't be surprised if Howard Stark himself did it.
I just love watching you guys. I like when people enjoy things like me and don't critique every single line and point out everything that is wrong. If something is sorry then you will say so but not super picky like a lot of people. Keep up the good work.
the heads at Marvel in charge of this project did in fact confirm that Falcon and Winter Soldier would not only be dealing with the events post return of the blip'd but also current racial relations politics policing issues and whatnot. It's basically meant to educate the white people, casual fans and hardcore fans, who would otherwise not even bother facing these issues on their own.
The friendship between Sam and Bucky is just what this show needed to continue their issues from the movies but you know if one goes down the other will be PISSED And they are pretty on point with Walker, comicbook version viewed the mantel of Capt as more a 'show piece' but is still seen as a 'Cap'. Money is on the background people pulling the strings and Zemo for the main antagonists. That all said HOLY SH*T for having Isaiah Bradley in there, means we might get in the Patriot in future MCU stuff... well one can hope.
The person after the Flag Smashers is Powerbroker. So it stands to reason that they got their powers because they stole super soldier from him, and now with them doing all this shit like robbing the bank in the first episode, and now going toe to toe with Falcon, Winter Soldier, as well as the new Captain America, he was able to track them down and is obviously coming after them in retaliation for having his product stolen.
You guys absolutely rock, i love your channel..... pee myself a little with excitement every time a notification comes in.... love your reaction and thoughts on all this..... keep rocking
John Walker in my eye's as of now, (and this is just my opinion on his character and how he's portrayed in the show, knowing the comic history of him, this is completely different than what was read prior to the show), is in the right when he said: Stay the hell out of my way. I mean, he tried multiple times to extend a hand, he literally explained to them what he wants, just to do the best he can, but they both refused him at every turn. One person can only take so much b4 they say exactly what he said to Sam & Bucky, I'm hyped for the next episode, it gets better every week! 🙌😃
You know what would be epic, if Bucky faces off against this rip-off Captain America and he throws the shield at him, and Bucky catches it like he did in Captain America Winter Soldier, that would be awesome.
I love both of you guys reactions to these shows and trailers. Highlights of my week. Thanks for always keeping it real and your banter back and forth reminds me of Sam and Bucky lol. Love you guys!! 👍
Shuri fixed the brain washing i believe, now the trauma is left. She said in Black Panther when Agent Ross came in. - Great another white boy to fix. Because she had fixed Bucky. But i am more afraid that he would fuck up his other recovery and maybe kill Zemo without the brain washing and that would probley fuck him up even more.
The way his voice almost breaks at the end of "and if he was wrong about you then he was wrong about me!" . . . just, fuck man . . .

@@oaktree1626 ...script of life, lol, and they ain't changing that in post anytime soon, especially with all the unarmed Black people murdered just this year alone so far.
Of course you never gonna get rid of hate him prejudice and racism that's always going to exist in the world But if aliens did come all that hate racism and prejudice would be mainly toward them There would be less human racism but there would be extreme alien racism
When the cops pulled up because Falcon is black, I'm ready to throw hands. Damn Disney is real with that shit.
isiah bradley is the grandfather of elijah aka patriot of the young avengers ..... they just touched on isiahs origins and his family with this ep ..
I LOVE THIS REAL WORLD STUFF IN THIS SHOW
I'm mortified that my hometown police department profiled the Falcon and Winter Soldier . . . had to be us, lol . . .
We were teenagers, so he got over it pretty quick (with a few choice cuss words between us about the cop) but after it was over and the cop left, we figured we'd better save our heated debates for the safety of our living rooms from now on!😉
That threpy bit was so funny up until Bucky final told Sam want he was thinking, great reaction from you two as always.
I think the reason walker was mad at the end because they kept refusing his offer and dissing him about being picked as the new cap.
I think he's mad bc he needed Falcon & Bucky as body shields in a way. Someone he can step over to get to a higher status. But since they weren't going for that they're a threat now, so he gave them that warning. Just a theory.
Obviously.
I agree with that.
Naw John Walker not really a good guy
And Bucky pushed his ego a bit with that “things are getting intense for you.” comment. Walker didn’t like that Bucky saw that.
quick fact, the reason Bucky got pissed and said pull over when Lemar said his name was Battlestar was because in the comics after Lemar got super strength he joined "Bold Urban Commandos" aka Buckies and Lemar went by the name "Bucky". lol
those activation codes dont work anymore , he got treatment in wakanda
Elijah Bradley (The Patriot) here.. Tommy and Billy (wiccan and speed) in wanda vision.. MCU is recruiting for Young Avenger
Kate Bishop coming in the Hawkeye series
Battlestar is Sage from The Tick. He was also in The Man in the High Castle.
Always looking forward to watch your reaction videos. You guys are quite a character. So fun. Love from the Philippines.
From an interview with Malcolm Spellman, the Producer and Head Writer on the show: "The magic of embracing diversity in the writers room and having an almost all-Black staff allows you to tap into pop culture. I mean, Black folk are the masters of it, and when we get a shot, to do what we do, it is universal for everyone because our struggle and our point of view is a concentrated version of the greater human struggle."
I don't think the writers are going to fool around or pull their punches.
the way you flamed him for his halloween costume DAMN 😂😂😂😂😂
This episode was so good can't wait until next week's one
Dollar Tree Cap isn't my Cap..........PERIOD
6:15 off-topic but Struggle Soldier cut fresh af 🔥
My mood is Joe every time they say "NeW CapTAin MuRIcaaa" lol, I'm loving this show though!
Philly barbers are renowned.
Lemar Hoskins (Battlestar) is actually from the comics. He had an Adamantium shield
I think John Walker can toss the shield like that despite not having powers because the shield was designed and built specifically for Sam (who also doesn't have powers) in the other timeline by Steve's instruction. Wouldn't be surprised if Howard Stark himself did it.
As always, you two make my day, love your reaction and commentary 💕!
I just love watching you guys. I like when people enjoy things like me and don't critique every single line and point out everything that is wrong. If something is sorry then you will say so but not super picky like a lot of people. Keep up the good work.
I hope we get some flashbacks with Isaiah Bradley and Bucky and explaining what happened with Bradley
"He don't need no chute"
🤣😂😂😂🤣
the heads at Marvel in charge of this project did in fact confirm that Falcon and Winter Soldier would not only be dealing with the events post return of the blip'd but also current racial relations politics policing issues and whatnot. It's basically meant to educate the white people, casual fans and hardcore fans, who would otherwise not even bother facing these issues on their own.
That actor is not Bushmaster from Luke Cage, that's Cle Bennett, he was in Arrow as Xavier Reed
The friendship between Sam and Bucky is just what this show needed to continue their issues from the movies but you know if one goes down the other will be PISSED
And they are pretty on point with Walker, comicbook version viewed the mantel of Capt as more a 'show piece' but is still seen as a 'Cap'. Money is on the background people pulling the strings and Zemo for the main antagonists.
That all said HOLY SH*T for having Isaiah Bradley in there, means we might get in the Patriot in future MCU stuff... well one can hope.
Your sound effects are sooooo funny! I watched your reaction 3 times already. Here I go again!
Every moment of this episode was so damn good
Love watching your reactions! Makes me laughs so much, for real.
Isiah Bradley was the first Captain America...he was experimented on to perfect the serum that Steve Rogers got...
Young avengers about to come together!
John Walker in my eye's as of now, (and this is just my opinion on his character and how he's portrayed in the show, knowing the comic history of him, this is completely different than what was read prior to the show), is in the right when he said:
Stay the hell out of my way.
I mean, he tried multiple times to extend a hand, he literally explained to them what he wants, just to do the best he can, but they both refused him at every turn. One person can only take so much b4 they say exactly what he said to Sam & Bucky, I'm hyped for the next episode, it gets better every week! 🙌😃
This episode cuts so deep man.
Right here in the church of marvel🔥🔥🔥
You know what would be epic, if Bucky faces off against this rip-off Captain America and he throws the shield at him, and Bucky catches it like he did in Captain America Winter Soldier, that would be awesome.
You guys are so awesome to watch react to superhero stuff. I don't normally dig reaction vids but you guys are actually dope as hell. +1 sub
Yo they shot this in my hometown Baltimore Maryland that's crazy 😂
Can’t wait for zemo next ep such a great villain
Zemo, the one man to beat the Avengers
aw i love that y'all are matching red
Another great reaction video. Always come here first after watching the episode. Keep up the good work!
I love both of you guys reactions to these shows and trailers. Highlights of my week. Thanks for always keeping it real and your banter back and forth reminds me of Sam and Bucky lol. Love you guys!! 👍
"Ooh they gone Training Day em"
😂😂😂🤣 #ripalonzo
You guys dinamic is unmatched man. Funny everytime!
Every single pissy reaction he made when he said he was the new Captain America has me weak. Literally me every time he shows his face
"I need somebody like that in my life!"
*slow turn*
5:57 Me after my lunch break ends
Shuri fixed the brain washing i believe, now the trauma is left. She said in Black Panther when Agent Ross came in. - Great another white boy to fix. Because she had fixed Bucky. But i am more afraid that he would fuck up his other recovery and maybe kill Zemo without the brain washing and that would probley fuck him up even more.
