Thank you for that. just getting head around multipliers. Gone for the budget envoy orbit (no mags) Wondering while the dial bit with numbers on under the spool control knob actually moves round. could understand if it was fixed . cheers
Once you have it set how you want it turn the outside dial to match the knob at 0. Then you know thats gona be your usual postion. I think that reel has spool and spindle has one piece so if you are casting into a headwind you could turn knob to position 2 for eg for a bit more braking it puts a bit of pressure on the spindle.
+Norms caster I have yes. It is very popular. Have a QTC chrome one. The capacity is very similar to a 6500 tho. Its wider yes but smaller diameter. I prefer a 6500. Akios 666 is a good sized spool for thicker line its same diameter as a 6500 but wider.

@@djrmonix cheers..
Its a decent reel to learn multis on. Eventually you will get away with no endcap pressure and just use the centrifugal brakes, I assume it has some?
very good
Regarding reels have you ever used the abu 6600w which seems to be very popular with tournament casters.
