We did the pickle on the tree. My mom would hide it before going to bed on Christmas Eve. Then whoever found it got a surprise. Usually it was a big candy cane.
How fun that you got a Christmas Pickle! I say, don't tell the kids at all about the pickle! Then, put it up before you go to bed. Then, the 1st one to mention the pickle gets a special gift. At least that's how I think it's supposed to work. Let us know what you end up doing!
We were introduced to us when my 3rd niece was old enough to love Santa. My mom would hide it on the tree (but move it Christmas Eve f someone found it) on Christmas Eve before the grandkids come over hang it on the tree for them to find…we say the first one to find it gets to open the first gift 🎁
Well this video is perfect timing as I’m sitting on the patio wearing a fuzzy cozy jacket and watching a fireplace burn on TH-cam since we don’t have a fireplace anymore and smelling someone’s grilling here in Austin. ❤
I bought SO many advent calendars this year. We're not exchanging gifts in my family, so I figured I'd get something gift-like for myself and I went all out. I bought some 24 day ones for December and some 12 day ones I'm going to open on the 12 days of Christmas. Excited to start opening today! Can't wait to see what day 1 is in my Bonne Maman calendar!

I tried Billie awhile ago, had the same problem. I switched us all to the Athena razor and club and I love it 😁 I can buy at Target if needed. I get their vitamins to.

Olive and June….I have all their nail and toe systems including the new gel system which I got a week ago. No construction work here, just some cooking and dishwashing - Thanksgiving Day sides and Friendsgiving cooking on Friday. Did my nails Wednesday evening using the peel off base. Like you, it did not last. By Friday night, my pinky nail color came off completely, and several others were lifting at the front. Just as with any mani, I always cap my edges as instructed (not the peel off coat), so this product did not work. I will try the peel off again BUT, I will try to NOT let that reach the tips of my nails. Question to you….I’ve used other gel polishes at home many times and the consistency is always on the thinner side for applying thin coats. The Olive and June gel base, color, and top coats are all extremely thick and gloopy, making it a struggle to achieve thin coats. Are your O&J gel polishes just as thick? I am planning to reach out to them tomorrow about that. Thank you in advance.
This is excellent feedback! Thank you for sharing. And all of mine are great except 1 is exactly as you said & the brush is frayed. It’s super weird & very hard to use. I set it aside to do some research on (but haven’t yet)

I bought the Olive & June gel system and have used it twice. I’m a big gardener and lots of projects around the house. The peel off layer should not go all the way to the edges of your nails. Mine lasted about 7 or 8 days and I’m okay with that since it doesn’t destroy your nails he way salon gel does. Make sure to cap the edges well with the gel. Hope it works for you. I just ordered more colors. Also, I love my Billie razor. ❤️

I love Billie razors. I never cut myself so they should be great for kids who are just starting.
