I remember just before being finished with the series after Reconnection I went back to an area where this music played through. There was a very strong sense of... finality in just walking around the place, gathering in the thoughts of having finished the game, the good and the bad, it was something else really~
I remember playing the PS2 version of this game when I was like 14-15. When I heard this song for the first time, I was always hoping that the main story would send me to the map where this song was played. Will always be my favourite from videogames in general. Thanks for the upload! :)
It reminds me of the first time that I played a demo of volume 1 on one of those old PS2 demo discs. I was hooked so insanely quickly upon hearing this. Still one of the first songs I think of when I think back on .hack.
Yeah, the soundtracks for both main series of .hack (ps2) are underrated, especially GU. I really want Bandai/Namco do an HD remake of the first series like they did with GU.
