Really disappointed in the way this went, but for me watching sOs games with his moments of genius is a lot more fun than watching another guy like Stats who simply plays a super solid, correct game. I guess for me a Stats or a Serral is like a Magnus Carlsen who wins everything with perfect play, whereas sOs is a Garry Kasparov. I will always cheer for sOs and I'm glad I was able to see him make it to blizzcon again.
That's so true. This kind of match is the most boring in my opinion. It reminds me the wcs valencia finals where Has was destroyed by Serral. What's truly fun, appart from what you already mentioned, is when two "super solid players" play against each other. Matches like Reynor or Stats vs Serral were amazing in my opinion. That kind of matches are the ones that I remember for years, such as Maru vs Life & stuff. Anyways, my comment is kind of late but whatever. Have a good day ^.^

I wonder if sOs will ever be able to level up his mechanics. I think he is slower than most of the other pros, so he needs to win with his genius. Unfortunately, it's difficult to overcome mechanics and games often don't go his way. Still my fav player by far.
Maybe SoS took too many time on preparing for Maru. His PvT was very impresive, but his PvP sucks. He definately seems to be a tier below Stats in PvP.
Compared to the other semi-final, this felt rather... bland. Stats was just mechanically better, which isn’t fun to watch. It made me feel like $o$ didn’t deserve to beat maru (and ruin our finale).
Dude maru is just messing around plus sos is on the same team as maru and they play together a lot, he knows maru play style that’s why he’s able to counter it so easily

If maru play normal game with sos, he wouldn’t stand a chance. Maru is overall better player than sos
