The GTR does not skid because it is AWD (Integral) traction and also has a special system called ATTESSA ET-S that prevents the car from skidding. The all-wheel drive is on all 4 wheels

      Thank you for the clarification!
If I remember correctly, Ryosuke and other Redson members mentioned the differences between the cars while they were in the diner.
Hopefully we’ll get to see more of what makes the GTR special🙌🏼

    1) Its not "Dracula sound", but Johann Sebastian Bach´s Tocata di Fugue, and it´s used as an intro for Mega RNG man´s song "Back on the rocks".
    2) GTRs in general can´t drift. The last one that could was the old 1980s GTR R31, which was only ever made as a rear-wheel-drive. However the more modern R32 and every other since then were only made as all-wheel-drive (if you don´t count the secondary models, like the GT, GT-i, GTS and similar, which had an outdated version of the engine). The all-wheel-drive GTRs are equipped with a computer system called ATTESSA ETS, which just like "jesuscedeno9853" said prevents oversteer skid, such as drifting. When it detects oversteer, it sends almost all the torque towards the front wheels, which temporarily turns the car into a front-wheel-drive, so that the accelerator pulls the car out of drift instead of keeping it in a drift.
    3) Yes, every car has its limits that cannot be broken no matter the skill of the driver. However realistically speaking, the AE86 in Initial D has its limits unrealistically high. WAAYYY too high compared to its real life counterpart.
    4) Driving 1cm away from the guardrail really isn´t realistic. Even Japanese guardrails aren´t that smooth, so even if Takumi really had the magical skill to guess that one centimeter exactly, the guardrail shape would still not allow him to drive like that without crashing.
    5) Balance of the car can change slightly when there are passengers inside. However a well balanced car like the AE86 would not be put out of balance by a passenger on the front right seat. In fact, the only change it may do is improve the sideways balance of the car due to it being loaded by a roughly equal mass on both left and right side. To shift its center of mass longitudinally, you´d have to put passengers on the rear seat, or put something in the trunk. The forward seats are basically just above the center of mass.
    6) It´s very unlikely that a person that is used to driving fast around the corners would pass out just like that. When I take my MR-2 Spyder for a spin around the local hairpins with my friend, I also tend to drive really fast. Sometimes even up to the maximum, which is significantly higher than on any AE86, and he´s still nowhere near passing out.
    7) You can modify a AWD into a RWD, but it´s extremely complicated. A lot of stuff needs to be completely replaced, the ATTESSA has to be completely removed, the front axle modified... Basically if you want a rear wheel drive Skyline, it´s better to buy some of the lower spec models instead of the GTR, and then put in a GTR engine (which is almost the same and usually fits like a glove).

Thank you for answering my questions and explaining the finer details about the show!
These are details that I’ll try to keep in mind as I continue watching; can’t wait to see what else Initial D has to offer!🙌🏼💯
