I am v happy to see a brother who 1 time work earning 1000/; per month _ and a refuge_ now own a where house of motorbike and adeler / not 4 getting awonderfull skill of another brother who suplys electricity to entire kakuma just starting with small genereter to a giant electricity, ,_ mashaallah
A thousand shillings is around 10-15 dollars a day, if my estimate are correct. That is less than what a low-wage earner gets in US or Canada, but that is a progress nonetheless. It could be worse...because there are those living on less than a dollar a day across Africa. --- I hope students from Fuji Academy are doing well. I taught there for about a year and half, from 2000 to August, 2002 before I left for Canada. Those kids were awesome...and they came from all cultures. They inspired me to respect and appreciate the beauty of human beings no matter the race, color, what you look like, etc...they were just kind kids and I was proud to teach them something I learned from Katilu Boys Secondary(now the St. Xavier something)...it was over 20 years ago since I had the Katilu experience. -- Every child needs at least some formal education to communicate and transact formally. Love teaching but my love is now diverted somewhere else....
Kenya has resourceful immigrants, were it good country management, these people could have been turned into full engineers, investors, inventors and innovator and instead of other Africans crossing Mediterranean to Europe, Atlantic Ocean to US, they cross Sahara Desert to Kenya.
I wish we could have like minded persons at the helm(you I mean). This is an untapped natural resource,(the enterprising immigrants)in human capital terms. But who is seeing this?
wachira gathu stop talking negatively about Kenyan citizens kenya is what it is because of us being peaceful where would they be if kenya wasn't what it is there would be no Kakuma, everything is not about money it's time our community starts teaching that coz it's true

Really good to hear that
Now they should expect the hungry KRA to step on there doors
I wonder why we don’t integrate these people when we don’t have any other factor of production in Kenya apart from human capital.
Our life is what our thoughts make it do.the best you can, where you are, with what you have this is said ABUKAR OMAR
