Absolutely loved the video Aidan, you've done a cracking job of showing off the Herriot Way! I thought the 'silent' approach worked really well (not something I've seen before, so I will check out the link you provided). Some of your camera positions were very novel, especially the one where you must have cambered up to the bridge over the old railway bed on day 1 👍
Thanks for watching Stuart! On that shot we both got stung by nettles on our way down - so as we're walking we're actually talking about finding some doc leaves to ease the stinging! It's a beautiful trail, we both really enjoyed it. Thanks again for all the info on your website!
I am reading Mark Wallingtons book Pennine Walkies and thought I would look to see what was on TH-cam. A great collection of many walks in the area but your video was a stand-out for me. Some people show themselves talking into the camera way too much and some show the person walking in front of them too much as well. You did neither of these annoying things. I got a real sense of the beauty of the walk through your excellent camera work. Especially enjoyed the shot of the scone with jam and cream. In NZ we have many lovely multi day walks but they are mainly in the bush so I am envious that you get to walk through lovely villages and stop for a beer or a coffee. I was wondering what sort of camera you used for the walk. I was thinking of getting one for my husband's bike rides. Thanks. I'll keep watching.

However, I have an upcoming video where I have different hiking footage but with talking on top, not about the particular hike, but rather how hiking and nature is so beneficial for our body and mind. I think you’ll enjoy it!

I shot this on a Sony A7s iii, with a 20mm lens on. But for bike riding I’d consider a GoPro!
