I've tried both of them (and a few others in the quest for the perfect mask) and settled on the P30i. The Dreamwear is good, but playing backup mask now. When new, the P30i cushions were hard on my nostrils, but as it has broken in, has become very comfortable. I'm still on the same pillows after 2 years. I've been using a CPAP since '00 and started with a mask called the "Breeze" which was hard plastic with a metal frame. Silicone masks were a huge improvement!

Thanks for sharing! Those old style masks were interesting to say the least:) How do you like the more modern CPAP's?

@@LiveWellCPAP I've had an Airsense 10 since 2015 and it is a huge improvement. Quieter and my first CPAP didn't have a humidifier. I use a Z1 for travel. I can't use the P30i with that because of the extra noise and the airtubes right by my ears. So I use a Swift FX with that.

I noticed the frame tubes on the resmed is almost silent vs the dream wear. I think it’s because the volume of the frame is so much lager on the res med. on the dreamwear it’s very low volume so the velocity increases causing airflow noise. It’s very noticeable.

It works well at home on my Airsense 10, but I tried the P30i with my travel unit and it was so noisy on it that I couldn't go 5 minutes!

my dreamware large frame gets restricted when its on my head and reduces flow/VERY hard to exhale, even when you pick the mask up with the cpap on if the mask bends at all it kinks and restricts flow? Wonder if i have a defective unit or is this normal?
