I have what i believe is a wonderful pomegranate tree and 3 years ago it harvested some sweet delicious fruits, last year they werent as good, and the arils were somewhat white. I just picked some yesterday to test them and they all were mainly white inside. They have always been super red and juicy in the past,( the tree is in ground, and I have given some fruit tree fertilizer and water frequently. I live in So Cal so it gets plenty of sun) any suggestions on what i can do to make these fruits better?

Hey Kath !! Thanks for the wonderful video. I love pomegranate and so do my kids. I live in the southern part of India. I have a quick question for you. Can i multicrop pomegranate shrub/plant with Mango trees. I have a mango orchard/garden and i would like to know if planting pomegranate in between the spaces of the mango trees is a good match? Do they compliment each other. Do you have personally experienced these two fruits together?
hi bro, my grandmas garden had 3 pomegranates and 2 huge mango trees, they was on side of each other, according to my mother they lived all togheder for more 50 years without problem. Despite the fact the mango made too much shadow so the fruiting was less. I also have one pomegranate in full shadow and this one - just for decoration - produce only 5 or 6 units per year hahaha, so the answer is, if the mango casts a shadow on the pomegranate it will harm
I have some in sri lanka but fruis are very small.
Wonderful isnt a good variety actually if you know other varieties. The seeds arent all that soft and they could be not sweet enough.
It is particularly not good for places that gets rain in summer and autumn when the fruits are ripping (they split open).
How many years before they fruit? I've had on in the ground for 3 years, a few flowers in spring but no fruit. I planted a second one last spring to help with pollination.
