This all-new hybrid model is powered by a 3.0 V6 TFSI + an electric motor delivering up to 462 hp & 700 Nm of torque (total weight: ca. 2350kg) Yes, this is a big am heavy car which also runs on 22 inch wheel but performance figures were quite decent. @@OsajaLps Crap? The 3.0 TFSI is an Audi design and is pretty damn good. Pity the rest of the vehicle is indeed crap.
@@nvl2691 The normal petrol 3.0 tfsi consumes more and is even slower than the 4.0 TDI. So yes Crap.
In case somebody is wondering: City to city (222 kms) with an average speed of 103 km/h (means 150 without Speedlimit) can be done with 8,6l/100km.
Of course if you push the car to top speed wherever it is allowed, you can calculate with >15l/100km...

I really like the Volkswagen Touareg, for me is such a beautiful car and I honestly love it. After the Urus this is my 2nd favorite car, hopefully one day I'll buy these two beauties.

Definitely...my favourite car ever...
It seems really calm at 250. Its like its made to be an autobahn cruiser. Some ''performace" cars are all over the place at high speeds, makes them hard to control for a long period time. But this is a mile muncher. I feel that this and a V8 diesel can sit at 200kmph all day without a problem.

@@blue-ck9ns yes, but that doesn't mean that they dont have seperated developments. And that Engine is developed by Audi Engineers and not VW.
It actually sounds good, but the best sounding V6 ever, was VW's 3.6 VR6 engine...

Hi, how big is the performance difference between the R and the V8 BiTurbo Diesel ? Is the the Diesel Punch with 900NM much more stronger from 0-100 or on pulls during regular traffic ?? Thank you very much !

Just a suggestion: when you talk about the engine specify wether it is naturally aspirated, turbocharged or supercharged. You said V6 engine twice or three times and never specified more.
Only in the video description I found it's a V6 TFSI.
What else did you expect? A Diesel? No way it would sound like that then.

Something let me suggest, that my previous Touareg-II 4.2 TDI made much better show with 5.8 seconds and 13.5 liters.

My choice is Touareg V8 TDI, faster than both of them.
Richtig schönes Auto und geht auch massiv vorwärts. Aber einen Hybrid gibts für mich trotzdem erst wenn der Quatsch mit dem Kabel vorbei ist.
Naja wenn du täglich für 5 EUR und ohne lokale Emissionen zur Arbeit fahren kannst sollte das mit dem Kabel doch nicht allzusehr stören;)
5€ hin oder her, die hab ich noch irgendwo. Und was die (lokalen) Emissionen betrifft... Ich war beruflich schon mehrfach in den USA, China & Indien. Die brauchen uns definitiv nicht um das Weltklima zu ruinieren, das schaffen die ganz allein, und wenn wir noch soviel E-Autos fahren

It's sad that they could put a v8 diesel in it "not this model the r-line" but in the R version they didn't use the same engine like the RSQ8 or The Urus i would've loved a V8 twin turbo touareg i even prefer this shape then others

Ich muss sagen der gefällt mir echt gut, aber, wenn ich die Preise von 100-110k für einen V6 Diesel mit Vollausstattung bei unserem lokalen VW Autohaus sehe, möchte ich nicht wissen, was der kostet. Dann packe ich halt noch 15-20k drauf und kaufe mir den neuen Cayenne.
Na gut Cayenne und Touareg kannst du preislich nicht vergleichen. 100k Touareg kriegst im Deal für 500 EUR mtl. einen 130k Cayenne kostet dich min. 1500 EUR mtl....totally different story.

Accelleration is ok, but not impressive. It could be faster, especially with the hybrid engine.
A BMW X5 M50d has the same weight and does the same 0-100 time with "only" 400hp
Diesel is much better suited for heavier cars
Touareg is heavier because of the battery

Automann-TV 85k ? Das ist absolut Fair! Wenn man sich überlegt ein Ford Explorer mit ähnlichem Konzept (v6 Motor plus Elektro und ähnlich groß ) kostet neu auch 75k.

@@Automann-TV but R and S are on the same level! And i think that Touareg need that engine! I dont like this with hybrid and sound on that V8 is the best sounding V8 turbo currently. Shame that they didnt fitted in Touareg.
