I just finished the drama and to be honest, I like Dan and Sejun's chemistry over the main leads. Their chemistry is so good that makes me crave for more scenes. How I wish Sejun did not die, I want more of their love team
This is why I love this drama so much. No weepy heroine, all badass women who take things in their own hands. They are capable of love and they are also capable of protecting their own interests. Even the village ajummas have so much character and thankfully, this show doesn't have women rivalling other women for men's attention. Everyone has their own thing to do and every character grows. Seri grows to love selflessly, Dan finds her life beyond marriage goals. This Kdrama has the best female characters.

Ughhhh love these two so much!!! And this drama too obvs. It's always so nice to see a female EMPOWERED not because she "acts like a man" or because she uses her femininity as a "weapon", but because of the strengths inherent and natural to them. Like Seri rising up above and beyond his brothers, and even enemies, because of her own merits and skills. And although Dan was hung up on Jeong Hyeok most of the series, in the end she was a woman of her own who didn't need to conform to what's expected of her (get a husband, be a good wife, good daughter). You rarely see that in dramas and it's so damn refreshing!
I'm more interested with the girl who's told the man to choose more higher buildings to jump for suicide. She looks so savage. Her face were so relate & suits with the role I don't give a f*** I own on my own business type.

She is now held as the most iconic 2nd female lead in Kdrama History so it was really disappointing that the award was given to the other ahjumma also in CLOY because Seo Dan really deserves it.
I know people mad because of Seo Dan relationship, but I believe it will be more fitting for Dan since through her life Dan lives with the expectation of marrying Joeng Hyok and Alberto come and knock some sense that it's not love that Dan's have, just mere obsession and through Alberto Dan learn what love truly is because if you truly love someone deeply, you know no one else could replace him/her. That's why Dan decides not to marry because for the first time she knows she wants no one else but Alberto. It's sucks, me as viewer got the meaning but I don't have to be happy about it, right? But truly, it's really suits Dan's arc story and I feel she just happy someone truly love her and will be waiting for her if the right time comes in eternity. Anw, thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
