It took them 2 months to deliver it. But I don't think you'll have to face the waiting because when I got it, there were only limited bikes came to India.
@@vfxA9kin this ain't a beast. It's a proper adv tourer built for extreme long touring. 10000 km tour on this one is easy and this sweet parallel twin motor is known for its bullet proof reliability. I'm really eyeing on NX500. Hopefully I'll be able to buy this one in next 3 years.
@@suryateja2k11 even im planing to switch from my vstrom 250 to nx 500...because of service network im unable to take decision...i only like japanese smooth engines...im happy with vstrom 250 ,crusing upto115 ,butter smooth engine(31k kms done sill feels like new engine),low mantainance n good milage...feels bit low power on 4 lane highways.
@@sangamesh74 I think you need to clock more km on your vstrom is still in great shape. 31k is very less considering its a Japanese engine. BTW how much far do you stay from your nearest Honda BigWing and which city do you live in?
Bro this bike is a CBU hence the pricing is on the higher side. If it was manufactured in India, we would have got this one under 6L on road. And coming to features, when there is no ride by wire throttle how can we expect cruise control and riding modes? And don't forget its bullet proof reliable parallel twin motor. It's easy to ride even for a person who just started riding a 100 cc bike. Its that friendly in nature.
@suryateja2k11 Exactly, it’s a CBU, and that’s why. The demand for these bikes isn’t high enough yet for Honda to set up a manufacturing plant here. I know it doesn’t have ride-by-wire, so no cruise control, but reliability and refinement were my main priorities with the NX500. Honestly, it’s super friendly and nimble to ride. Even coming from a 100cc bike, the transition felt easy.❣️❣️
I am also looking for this bike from 6 months , everytime i am about to buy it ,the 7 lakhs just feels odd for this bike , will wait for ktm 390 r and then decide which one to pick up . I like features , my budget is okay to pick up this bike.
@rocksaidso I totally agree with your point 7 lakhs is indeed on the higher side. The old KTM 390 Adventure was ahead of the NX500 in terms of features, and now, with the new model getting cruise control, it’s even better equipped. But we shouldn’t overlook the key difference: the KTM is a single-cylinder, while the NX500 is a twin. Honda’s refinement and reliability are in a league of their own compared to KTM. That said, it all comes down to personal preferences and priorities. I’d recommend taking a thorough test ride of both at least 40 km each to truly understand, which suits you better. Happy Riding ❣️
@@Octanetrails I was about to buy 650 versys , but took it lil off roading and it didn't work out for me , i am 6'3 88 kgs so weight of the bike was not a prob , then did a test ride for nx 500 and fell in love with it but just the price , if it was 5.5 to 6 i wouldn't even think twice . It's a superior bike to both ktm and himi 450 in almost all dept . except switchable abs and riding modes and obv the price . Thanks a lot for the reply though . Ill wait till feb and see which one to pick up .
@@rocksaidso Versys 650 is also cool, and it’s not like it can’t handle small rough patches, but it’s definitely not like the NX500 because of the wheel sizes. Personally, I also have a soft corner for the Versys 650 in my heart. No problem, I'm always here if you have any queries.❣️
@bibbinbravoable Yes, it's a little bit pricey. It can be good for someone who likes refinement, smoothness, good range, reliability, and low maintenance cost.
Are you talking about Honda bigwing? I never heard about this anywhere. May be few dealers but majority of after sales service especially their premium range offers good experience. Btw which dealership are you talking about and where it is?

Adv 390 reliable nahi hai?
@sunscary Ktms do have good safety tech and features, but Ktms lack in long-term engine reliability.

Sir, on what basis are you saying this ? Parts availability or service center's mechanic experience?
