I'd agree if donut was honest and knew the law. However, he was a cop.... his understanding of how things actually work are minimal at best. It's truly painful watching some of his videos and seeing just how legally wrong he is.
In the USA, you have a few options for disruptive defendants. If it's just a one or two time thing, they'll just adjourn and reschedule the hearing. If it happens continuously, they can be removed from the courtroom and attend virtually and remain muted during the proceedings. In the past, when virtual hearings weren't common, they would sometimes gag the defendant during the proceedings. edit: this reminded me of the rick and morty courtroom recreation of the transcript from a criminal case that went viral on youtube. It's called "State of Georgia VS Denver Rick Allen" and i highly recommend reacting to this if you guys haven't already.
Great video blokes! I know several Police Officers and I am always amazed they without really giving a thought about going to work everyday. They see more an opportunity to save somebody else and not fearing for themselves. Thanks guys!
According to the British media I’ve watched, the killer isn’t getting a life sentence because he committed the murders while a minor. I was shocked about the crime rates currently in the UK, especially at the schools, or among school kids going to/from schools - robbing each other.
If a defendant in court over here disrupts the court, he or she can and does get removed from court and placed in another room while the trial continues. Famous case in point is Darrell Brooks case who murdered many in the Waukesha Christmas Parade by driving through them. The Judge had to many times reprimand him as he chose to defend himself but many times he was just plain crazy, rude, disruptive to the point the judge was forced to remove him physically from the courtroom where he was held in another room with mic shut off or on and only given like a zoom video way of communicating.
In America any citizen can request a copy of the bodycam videos pretty much any time under the Freedom of Information Act or FOIA. Also the reason a lot of these people you see in these videos do the stupid things that get them shot are suicidal.
The guy in the car dealership is just in the next town form me! Also there are more and more laws here in the USA that require law enforcement be equipped with body cams.
You should check out 'The Civil Rights Attorney'! Lots of his stuff goes viral too. Might balance the content. And even if you get into rooting for your club. At least it'll stir discussion..can only help with Fair Use ,i'd assume.
@Fattyyyyx not true... but understandable you'd think that. Is lack lister biased? Sure. But he's way more objective than donut. In fact I've seen donut support officers who have broken the law.. and not just by lack luster's opinion but by lawyer's opinion as well.
Definitely keep watching donut, like you both said we love his videos. Seeing Daz’s reactions is like 90% the best part 😂 love ya too Mike

4:35. Did he say help me, Mommy?
In the us if your are screaming in court and your charges are serious they will put this thing over your mouth so you cant or atleast wont disrupt
These people redefine “stupid.”
WOW!! That was crazy.. how do the police not bring the shootings in their mind home with them??
Some do and suffer ptsd from them!
Cries like a baby when shot after they gave him multiple warnings!!
You guys should react to lack luster. His videos are far more accurate than donuts.
Lackluster is just as bias as Donut. You just like that channel because it fits your narrative.
