Two very high-ceiling athletic young players who are definitely not ready for the NBA this season. Overall the quality of this draft and what picks the Bucks had, taking project was probably the best.
It's not what people think! Both these kids could be special players! Am born raised milwaukee!! 58yr I haven't seen any players come from college and didn't have too work on some weaknesses in their game.. even the great ones! Giannis antetokounmpo was picked 15th..now look 👀 there is always gonna be diamonds in a rough!
Who could they have even drafted w thier picks that would be likely to pay off next year? I think it’s smart to get athletic players and develop them w the hope in a couple years they may be a valuable asset
Ah Johnson is one of the shiftiest players I’ve seen in awhile it’s just can he put it all together. ( also he had a open run last year with Marjon )I can see Tyler smith on this team for a long time. Kind of a John Collins type of player
In terms of value, 2nd round was so much better than the 1st pick. Don't like either strategy wise. I do like the 2nd pick, however. Just doesn't make sense. The Bucks have acquired all these old deteriorating players for win now mode, then draft guys that can't help at all for years. Pick a lane. Are we building for the future or trying to win another ring with Dame and Giannis?
Both guys we drafted won't make an impact at least for this season. Tyler Smith has some game to him but his defense needs A LOT of work and sometimes plays a bit soft. Get ready for the old and vet minimums that will be forced to play and make Giannis, Dame and Middleton carry the load all season once again even though health is an issue for all of them. I just do not understand that 23rd pick at all. AJ may be a really good player in the future but by the time he sees the court Giannis will be long gone.
talk about bad contracts, what about Celtics signing Gordon Haywood a few years ago. Massive contract, breaks his ankle almost straight away. After that season he came back and was not even close to how good he was before the injury, yet still had years left on that huge contract. Sucks all the oxygen out of the room.
watch the presser on the night of day 1 of draft. Horst addressed that. PS Free agency has not even commenced. Patient OLD grasshopper , or are you a Cicada who comes out once every 17 years ?
They are not going to. The Bucks front office knows that. The selections they had in the draft were never going to get a player(s) that would. The selections they had were never going to be used in a trade package for a veteran who would contribute. This is for building down the road after Giannis and Lillard are traded or leave in FA. The Bucks are in that weird position where they are too good for a lottery pick, but not good enough for a Championship. So taking high ceiling guys in the late 1st round and in the 2nd is the best option.
What’s wrong with these comments,? Tyler 6,9 without shoes athletic and can hit 3s AJ looks a lil undersized but he also looks special when he is moving on the court
@@uwannasee_greatness That is correct, that is why you select high-ceiling projects. There was no one available at least right now that was going to help the team win in the Giannis window. Also, the selections we had were never going to be able to be used in a trade for a veteran.
Bucks fans have to stop thinking about mediocrity...Drafting a "ready made" rookie won't lead you to beating Boston, most of the ready read rookies aren't difference makers at that late in the draft..Free agency and veteras fill those roles...You are better off taking a swing for 2-3 years which will keep the Bucks contending vs, getting guys who are just backup guys anyway.

I love this show❤
I don’t mind the picks we need to keep a eye on the future

Makes the hiring of Coach Buckner, known as a player development coach even more critical.

Got some info on who we’re looking to add in FA. If he signs we’d have to really only think about the C/5 position.

Herd gonna be lit. Not sure about the Bucks.
I really feel Tristen Newton should’ve been picked…he also has a great connection with AJAX
Is Livingston still a teenager?
Are the bucks gm normal?
can't see how either of these 2 guys are gonna help the Bucks win now, does Horst even realize that this a win NOW team?

Justin, Smith is not young?? 19 years old.
Bucks May have the worst fair weather fans in the league
Its honestly sad but I'm never going anywhere
Tyler is similar size as Bobby but much more athletic
Kinda reminds me of Michael Beasley
2024-25 NBA finals
Pelicans/Bucks
(Pelicans win 4-3)
Tyler Smith rookie of the year/6th man of the year.
Gannis MVP
That's not true, Justin. You can attach the rights to a player with Pat to get under the apron.
The rights to who? It took three seconds to offload Reggie Jackson's 1 year 5 million deal
What’s wrong with these comments,?

How many rookies helped teams win a championship in the last 10 seasons that were chosen 23 through 33?

These two just have no clue on anything cap related.
