حرفيّة ماهرة، عكفت على غزل الصوف منذ سنوات طويلة، تتفنن في غزله بمختلف الألوان. تعمل في هذه الحرفة بشغف وتُعلم من لديه الرغبة لتحمي هذه الحرفة من الاندثار. وتعتمد هذه الحرفة على المغزل وهي أداة خشبية من شجر السدر، وتستخدم لغزل الصوف بعد أن ينظف ويشذب، ليصبح على شكل خيوط تلف بطريقة كروية تسمى «درية»، وتحاك لتصنع منها عقل الرجال، و«خطم» البعير، وأيضاً «المحقبة»، وتستغرق يوماً واحداً للحياكة أو يومين، حسب المنتج الذي ترغب بحياكته المرأة.

A skilled craftswoman; she has been spinning wool for many years and is skilled at spinning it in various colours. She works in this craft with passion and teaches those who have the desire to learn. This craft relies on the spindle, which is a wooden tool from the Sidr tree, and is used to spin the wool after it is cleaned and trimmed, so that it becomes in the form of threads that are wound in a spherical manner called “Darya,”. The products they make from them range from men’s Aqal, camel’s “snout,” and robes to tie the camels and goats. It takes one day for knitting or two days, depending on the product the woman wants to sew.
