@Samantha's life Every time she picks up a guitar my heart screams "Nooooo!" Weird, I know, but Delta and the piano are one and the same for me. Where there's a piano there must be Delta. Her soul is bared when she plays the piano; the way she plays with her whole being, pure and unadulterated, takes you to an ethereal place. A place where there is only pure joy and Love and Light. For me, her and the piano is a taste of heaven. Every time she sings, I feel as if I can actually touch heaven and feel it in my soul.
@Samantha's life I love the fact that she can play various instruments and it broadens her perspective and appeal, but the piano is the one instrument where she truly shines. We were introduced to her with the piano and it became her signature instrument. That is maybe why it feels 'weird' to see her with a guitar.

I think they may have got the names mixed up here, should of been Josh Teskey (and the rest of the band) and then finally a little mention to Delta Goodrem. The Teskey Brothers nailed this song with soul and feeling.

Delta's first line - from another world, just spine tingling. Then Josh's first line - I actually cringed at the sharp contrast even though later on they were in harmony. The crashing piano ruins it. So much magic - Delta's voice is on another level, I could listen to her for hours, but it needs to be studio mixed to keep the chillls going whilst listening.

Josh's voice is incredible also deltas range is jaw dropping. Hate inxs. But this cover is unbelievable.
OK I must be missing something ??? having read the comments as well as listening to this , because its just not doing it for me at all, these guys are extremely talented no doubt but the arrangement & some of the vocals just don't work & the arrangement is off as well, I'm sorry but give me the original any day over this version, sometimes putting your own spin on things can lift a song to a whole new level like Johnny Cash - Hurt and Gary Jules - Mad World, but some songs are so perfect & so full of emotion & nuance that you just can't mess with the formula , i.e. you cant improve on perfection & that is INXS - Never Tear us apart, sorry no offense ! just saying.
Yeah the talent is there!! 100% and it’s heard and felt but….. there is that edge and almost the dirty street edge freedom that is missing and I think it the holding back they did on his voice…. They polished him to fit into Deltas style shame it’s to controlled and the rawness is sadly missed… it’s performed and not wild raw and not left to let go naturally! Shame shame shame so almost there but missed it……by that ……much 🤌🏼
