Former WWE head writer Vince Russo has repeatedly stated what a big fan he is of Jinder Mahal. Russo tells his co-host Dr. Chris Featherstone and NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion EC3 that the fate of so many WWE Superstars is in the hands of vindictive people. EC3 takes us back in time to when Vince McMahon made a rather strange pitch to him.

WWE made a big mistake by releasing Jinder Mahal. India, at 1.4B is the most populated country in the world, with 4.9M U.S citizens that are of Asian Indian dependency. What a huge market rhe WWE could have capitalized on.
Yet when Mahal was on, the numbers in India went down. So if you're saying use a Indian to sell to the Indians, well it didn't work. Maybe they got rid of him cause he didn't bring in the numbers. Not everybody belong in WWE, very few stay more then 5 years, this is a revolving door for people to come and go.
I'm from India and the majority of us who watched WWE don't watch it simply bcoz of any Indian there. People in India were gaga over WWE the most between 2000-2017 (especially till 2012) and I don't think back then WWE had any Indian wrestler except Great Khali. We watched it for the stars (Like the Rock, Cena, CM Punk etc.), their exceptional roasting capabilities (or shud I say their ability to cut a decent promo), and yeah some twist and turns in the match. Since they all are now in the last phase of their career and WWE is itself being sort of repetitive and boring with no stars (except Bray Wyatt, his "the fiend" persona was intimidating and got some attention), their numbers are going drastically down in India.
One thing that hurt Jinder was somebody suggesting he speak in that awful fake voice! I would hear him in interviews and think he would make a charming heel if he spoke normally, but with a sly edge. In Vinnie Mac's WWE, his vision of a wrestler is how they would be pushed! How Austin, Cena and Becky were able to fight the machine and win is pretty unusual, and notice, few and far in between!

@@BabyMaharaja0 This recent run, yes, he spoke more naturally but you hardly saw him. When he won the WWE belt, he was still using it. Maybe he would go back and forth with it? The late 2010s are a blur.
Wwe need to do better and bring Jinder and his crew back…….they are stars!!!!
No I dont think he shud right now just escaped from the bs political cesspool that is wwe. He shud probably go to tna or aew most probably he will go to TNA plus they have a more closer relationship and history with india than wwe. He could also go to a wrestling company in canada if there is one.

@stevejamieson8468 exactly brother. I was no fan of him back in the day but his return to the World Weinstein Entertainment really solidified the modern day Maharaja as the GigaChad of the new Era.
He was excited about being part of this new era, but HHH felt like an old dog standing with Jinder who is PRIME Jinder.

I'm an Indian and i can say with 100% confidence that no one really gives a shit about Jinder. Here roman and cena are the most loved wrestlers. I give him props for really rebuilding his body and he does look like a million bucks but if we're keeping it all the way hundred then he was a bit player that's all.

It's not abt whether you care abt jinder or not its abt the fact that they released every indian in the wwe roster all at once plus Sanghas reaction after release says they did not go out respectfully something went down.
