I love how honest you are about the products and the way you show us how to work around things we don't love. For the impression marks, can you rub them out with a bone folder? I've heard to use that trick if you score in the wrong place. I think the other thing I've heard is to run the paper back through the die machine with just the plates and it might help remove the marks. TYFS! Your cards are so adorable.
Haha You're so smart! That was the first thing that I tried. But unfortunately it didn't help. Not with the regular one or the Teflon one. I wish it had been that simple. 🤔❤️

Some other presenters make me feel so inadequate because they are always perfect and everything is rosey. It very seldom is that way in my craft room! Watching your replay as I got the Give it a whirl dies a while ago and hadn’t used them yet. I was a bit confused 🤔 as to how to put it all together. Your tips and tricks were very helpful. And we all make mistakes so it was really great to see how you fixed them. My favorite of those cards was the space one. Another great tip on how to use DSP and cutouts so they don’t get stuck on the whirly gig. Love your channel and your honesty. 🥰

If the dies make an impression that I don’t want, I run it between some clean paper and my cutting plates on my big shot again, seems to do the trick for me. All your cards are so wonderful!! Great help and tips!! I will add what I discovered works pretty well with the large front die if you want to use it -- I like the stiched edging all around -- is to first use the die to cut a piece of acetate (I used a piece from a cut-up SU acetate card box as it's a good thickness). It doesn't need to cut all the way through, just enough to see the outline, then with scissors trim all along the outline just inside of it. Next fit it back inside the die and tape it in place along outer edges here and there using the center hole for alignment. Next with scissors trim away the acetate closely through the center where the bar is. This reduces the pressure there. You may need to experiment with the thickness of acetate for best results. Another idea is to use the thin aluminum from a soda can in place of the acetate, but I haven't yet tried it.

I actually can’t pick a favourite ... perhaps the kangaroo (because I am from OZ [Australia]) ... or maybe the stunning alcohol ink DSP one (love the colours) ... or thinking again the turtle is so cute ... but then again ... the space one is so gorgeous with the black and gold! Just thought I’d show you my card using the cloud as the window 😁 ok don’t know how to attach a picture so that’s what I did. Put it all together like you showed but I used the largest cloud and cut in card front for the window opening for my words.

This is my first time to watch you. I love your cards. To eliminate the little circle where the brad would gi in, put a tiny piece of washi type tape. You can hardly sit the “circle” intention.

I think if you want to do circles maybe you could run your scalloped circle through the Die Cut and Emboss machine with a new plate on top and nothing else and maybe it would smooth it out.
My fav was the spaceman, but a close 2nd was the turtle. I've always wanted to know how those kind of cards were put together. Thanks

You video convinced me 5o buy this set. In one of your videos you mentioned that demos could print out stamp set inserts for the storage case. I am a US demo and tried to use the print library, but there are only blank insert sheets to print. Can I print the sheet for specific sets? If so, how. BTW, I am learning so much from your videos!!
They are blank in Canada too, but you can type on them when you open them. Then I print the image of the dyes and tape it to the insert before I put the insert in the case. I hope that makes sense. 😉

I sat down to play with the dies today. I thought I would cut a practice piece of the main layer to see how much of an impression that cross bar leaves, since it’s hard to tell in a video. I use a self-healing mat instead of a cutting plate in my Big Shot. Guess what? There was no impression at all. That’s one more advantage to giving up acrylic cutting plates.
