These are what Nudie Cohen used to make the fancy country singer suits, like Porter Waggonner’s. Rodeo Tailors today are still using these, the chain stitch as ornament is part of cowboy clothing.

Thanks. The secret to oiling any machine is just to oil every part that moves or looks like it moves. Wipe off the excess but you'll be sure to get it all doing it that way. And download the manual to see if you missed any areas.

The Singer 114w103 and Cornely machines are amazing quality! The copies are very low quality.
