Your teaching skills are incredible!! Thank you for this follow-along tutorial. As someone who has advanced intermediate level crochet, I really do still appreciate in depth tutorials. This project is exactly what I was looking for as a holiday gift for a friend! Just a pro tip for beginners, using a stitch marker on the last stitch of every row can be very useful even though you’re counting to swap the colors. It’s a good visual and can help you count the stitches in the row if you’re a perfectionist like me who double checks every other row. Tedious- but I always appreciate that extra time on big projects, so I don’t have to undo my work. Thank you for this series!!! Loving this project already ❤

Yikes! I had no trouble with the baby sheep last year and I had only been crocheting for 3 months. I’m already lost on this one! I can’t tell which stitches you are working into after you do the magic ring.

Why do we have to use the nylon? Did anyone do it without?

She' s making such a beautiful job, it' s so a shame that it' s all too confusing wit all the colors, I' m having a tough time at following her.

Where I'm getting confused is at the color changing, it has been a tough job but what I did was I re- wrote the pattern and converted it in my own way, also I'm going to do it with one color, in brown, except for the snout in which I' m going to make it in white, I need to get accostumed to your patterns and to your work at least for the beginning. You're making such a beautiful job! I'm making large amigrumi too because it's a lot faster, easier and nicer too, also I don' t have much patience for small things anymore, but thank you anyway for your tutorial! BTW...I'm 73 almost 74 year old and crocheting keeps my mind as well as my hands busy. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

That's a good idea, I haven't ever used one. If you do let me know how it works!
@oldsoulcrochetco.7887 I got one on Amazon and so far I'm loving it! It makes working with multiple colors/strands SO MHCH EASIER AND it keeps all my hooks and knitting needles and other accessories all organized lol ( a sucker for organizers!)

Can you use red heart yarns for this?
Yes you can, it will come out smaller, so just adjust your gauge with your hook and it will work!

There isn't a free pattern for this one, but the videos are free! If you watch all the videos and crochet along by the end you will have made the whole deer!
