I’ve been on the hunt for a taupe bag to replace my LV pochette metis in turtledove and almost bought the Atelier August but I had the black Monceau and I agree it being on the larger side. Their taupe color, while beautiful , was not going to work well with my skin tone. So I’m excited to try this one out!
I love this bag, been using it non stop since I got it for 2 months, so carefree bc of the leather being scratch resistant, and it has held up well. And it goes well with so many outfits! I returned my Monceau bag and no regrets.
Does this bag have a smell of any kind?
No smell at all which is why I’m not sure if it’s real leather. But it has held up incredibly well. I still love it.
@@simmernsizzle Thank you! PU leather or faux leather has a distinct fishy smell, as does cheap leather. This is good to know.

With how much the buckle sticks out, do you ever run into issues where you accidentally open the bag by hitting the buckle?
No actually that has never happened to me. The buckle is quite secure, u need to push all the way down to open the bag.

What is leech leather?
Leige leather is like saffiano leather, more durable than box leather. Some Celine classic box were made from leige leather.
