Today one of my most talked to and gifted to villagers wanted to leave, I honestly think it's just random. It's possible though that the game decides it randomly if what you stated doesn't happen.
You can’t outright ignore them entirely though. You have to talk to them when they look like they’re thinking about things, because only then is when you can get the prompt for them leaving if they’re thinking about doing so. Edit: literally missed the second half of the comment. So many people skip that step, I just assumed...

So my birthday was March 29th. I was alone since husband was out traveling for work and I had to tell my family to stay home. I have never been alone for my birthday before. The birthday party thrown for me in AC just made me cry. I was so happy to have a celebration in game. I spent all day just playing and it was fun.
I feel you on the whole "can't move a building that intersects with another." All my villagers' houses need slight adjustments in their little residential section of my island... Which means it will take 16 DAYS to do the full reno. 😓
If you weren’t worried about who lived where you could move the first one away and then move the second into the first one’s place and so on, and finally move the first house to the last one’s original place, so it would only take 9 days to move the houses. Moving all of their stuff to their new places wouldn’t be too bad a job.

The way I view the recipes I'll never use is, it seems like you don't get duplicate DIY recipes, so the more of them I collect, the more likely I am to get something I actually want. Plus I'm a casual completionist, so feeling like I'm filling out that collection list is a nice bonus.
Free exterior renovations is actually a pretty neat incentive to paying off the final loan. It's small but useful enough for people who like to change things up like that every now and then.

Hey austin, I’ve been watching this series daily, and I feel like as of recently you’ve started to sound burnt out from the game and criticism from everybody. I reccomend you take a couple days off, and just ignore the toxic comments mate. Whatever you do with your island, it’s your choice and chucking out a gold shovel is fine because I don’t think it was even possible to get the golden shovel because Gulliver hasn’t come 100 times, so it’s hacked/ time cheated anyway. Anyway I love the series so if you want, keep it up, and great job
I think Gulliver has to come 30 times, but the game hasn't been out for 30 days and even then it's somewhat unlikely for you to get Gulliver 30 days in a row. (I don't know if it's even possible, but I have seen people getting him 2 days in a row.)

I just randomly stumbled on your channel while watching other Animal Crossing videos. And I've just got to say how refreshing it is to see a youtuber playing at a "normal" pace. Sure, everyone plays how they want to play and if timeskipping is your thing, then so be it, but many of us don't skip and it can be discouraging when you hop online and see all these youtubers with multimillion bell homes and terra forming on day 2.

Ah, okay. I'm a timeskipper so I don't expect you or anyone else to understand. I don't see anything wrong with time timeskipping if you're doing it for fun and not for cheating. Personally, I'm just incredibly impatient, and that's why I do it. People may call me a cheater, but I'm not doing it to cheat. I'm doing it to further _my own_ enjoyment of the game. And everything I do in the game is legit. I catch my own bugs and fish, go to my friends to get their fruits, buy my own tools, grind up to get bells, etc. I just speed up the process.
@ Selling in other towns has literally been part of the series for a long time though? It's a thing that a lot of people have been doing for a long time. It's not exploiting a part of the game--if the developers didn't want people selling turnips in other towns for huge profit, they would have just made it so you can't sell them in other towns.
@ time-traveling does make the game easier and isn't an intentional part of the game. On the other hand, traveling to other people's islands is encouraged, and creates a stronger sense of community.
I caught a snapping turtle my first night of playing the game. So just as every other fish I had caught I placed in world and I literally screamed because I thought he was gonna run away and quickly picked back up lol
This is Animal Crossing. Play it as much or as little and in whatever way you want, Austin. When I was a kid, half the point of my Gamecube AC file was to turn off the console without saving to piss off Resetti. That brought me joy and no one could've told me to play differently. So long as it affects no one else, play every game however the heck you want! And yes, that includes the daily uploads. As much as I enjoy them, your sanity and mental health is NOT worth my entertainment.

I just randomly stumbled on your channel while watching other Animal Crossing videos. And I've just got to say how refreshing it is to see a youtuber playing at a "normal" pace. Sure, everyone plays how they want to play and if timeskipping is your thing, then so be it, but many of us don't skip and it can be discouraging when you hop online and see all these youtubers with multimillion bell homes and terra forming on day 2.

Its just the way he looked down on time travellers and acted as if he was a god amongst men and it was an amazing achievement because he doesn't time travel. Now hes gotten backlash hes toned down but in the previous videos hed just sneak into some trash talk on time travellers

Ah, okay. I'm a timeskipper so I don't expect you or anyone else to understand. I don't see anything wrong with time timeskipping if you're doing it for fun and not for cheating. Personally, I'm just incredibly impatient, and that's why I do it. People may call me a cheater, but I'm not doing it to cheat. I'm doing it to further _my own_ enjoyment of the game. And everything I do in the game is legit. I catch my own bugs and fish, go to my friends to get their fruits, buy my own tools, grind up to get bells, etc. I just speed up the process.

@ Selling in other towns has literally been part of the series for a long time though? It's a thing that a lot of people have been doing for a long time. It's not exploiting a part of the game--if the developers didn't want people selling turnips in other towns for huge profit, they would have just made it so you can't sell them in other towns.

@ time-traveling does make the game easier and isn't an intentional part of the game. On the other hand, traveling to other people's islands is encouraged, and creates a stronger sense of community.

I caught a snapping turtle my first night of playing the game. So just as every other fish I had caught I placed in world and I literally screamed because I thought he was gonna run away and quickly picked back up lol

This is Animal Crossing. Play it as much or as little and in whatever way you want, Austin. When I was a kid, half the point of my Gamecube AC file was to turn off the console without saving to piss off Resetti. That brought me joy and no one could've told me to play differently. So long as it affects no one else, play every game however the heck you want!
And yes, that includes the daily uploads. As much as I enjoy them, your sanity and mental health is NOT worth my entertainment.

Yeah, Jordan is right. You read the date wrong. Even in-game it says April 6th on his screen AND the video was posted April 7th. You could have used context clues before making a claim like that.

Love the daily posts @Austin John. It's an inspiration and it really shows how much you can do in one day of AC. But you need to look after your health and rest your hands. That much gaming will take a toll on your tendons. How about two designated days off with no uploads ... Wednesdays and one other day? Keep up the good work !

I think we should all just enjoy it and just not voice how we don’t like how others play....I think that would be a bit less stressful for you and everyone else that feels attacked when their play style is ridiculed. It’s no “wrong” way to play. Save editing doesn’t make someone’s island better & playing “legitimately” (I’m tired of hearing that) doesn’t make anyone more in tune with the game. Just play and enjoy. However the hell that may be....
