Great roleplayed by them.B R Chopra is great.
All the characters in the Mahabharat(old) episodes were perfect.
What a dialogue delivery by almost everyone in this scene. And such well written dialogues. It creates the tension in the scene. Just an amazing stuff to look at. I do agree some times, actors do some overacting, but it's fine, at some points it's necessary to overact. Its much much better than what we have seen in last many decades in indian tv and cinema.

This shows that there are fools in society who think their values are far more important. But the reality is such values of ego is not fruitful and it will start killing society itself. Story of only Duryodhana Temple in india.
Poruvazhy Peruviruthy Malanada
Duryodhana went searching for the Pandavas when they were in exile. During his search in the southern forests of Kerala, he reached this place. He was extremely thirsty and asked for some water. An old lady, belonging from a low caste, offered him toddy (sweet coconut water) which Duryodhana drank without any hesitation.Looking at his royal attire, the old lady figured out that he is some king and was touched by the fact that a man of such respect drank the water served by an untouchable woman from a Kurava caste. But Duryodhana was the one who never believed in the caste system. In fact, he was quite touched by her hospitality. To show his gratitude, he sat there on a hill and prayed to Lord Shiva for the well-being of the people living in the village. Not only this, he also gave agricultural land to villagers.
Later, the villagers got Poruvazhy Peruviruthy Malanada Temple built on the same spot where he meditated. Interestingly, the temple also pays property tax every year in the name of Duryodhana, which only shows villagers' love and respect for him.
Dhuryudhana was a great king and warrior so stop degrading him he was evil only to Pandavs

Folklore not based on facts
caste never existed at that time, please come out of the colonial loaned mindset, caste is a portigual term, British passed a law that all farmers, shepherds, iron smiths, carpenters, etc are considered as low castes, and all educated, religious, businessmen, and warriors considered as high caste. And officials are bound to address them this way, otherwise, there will be jail time.
Story:
At that time Vanvasis were considered as lower strata of society. For ex, when Mata Shabri's clan migrated then they left her at Rishi's ashram because she was an orphan, Rishi took her as his daughter but due to his old age he died and before leaving his body he asked his students to take care of their sister and stay at the ashram. His students refused to take care of a vanvasini and left. Rishi's told Shabri that stay here and one day you will meet God in human form. She waited.
Shri Ram arrived and cursed the students of Rishis that they will lose all the knowledge they achieved from their Master and only Shabri's forgiveness will give them any chance,
Later they came to ask for forgiveness from Shri Ram but he said that I am judge now. Later they went to Shabri and she forgives them and told them to live here and make a school here that teaches Gyan to everyone worthy.

There is no sin in untruth spoken unto women, or in marriages, or for saving king, or for rescuing a Brahmana.'
