    Which island has the best of both worlds? Beauty with best shopping, eating etc...but not crazy like Oahu and not too quiet like Maui? I'm looking to buy a condo in couple of months

    • @thejeremymateo
      @thejeremymateo  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey what's up man! That's kind of hard to say for that in between. If it's not Oahu, then it's just quiet country. If you are looking in between, I would say the west side of Oahu would be the best. It's very suburban (Kapolei/Ewa Beach) OR you could go to the north east (Kailua/Kaneohe) which is more country like but not too quiet....compared to the busy city of Honolulu. Hello Jeremy, Thanks for the video. I especially appreciate the time codes. I am interested in living beachfront on Oahu and I understand Ewa Beach is the most affordable area near Honolulu. It seems Ewa Beach has a bad reputation. Specifically, (1) the gun range noise from the speaker system and the gunshots, (2) the airplane noise, (3) the fireworks year-round, (4) the commute to Honolulu, and (5) when you tell people you live in Ewa Beach their response will be, "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." Are you able to shed some light on these topics? Thanks! - J

    Yes it is nice especially condos but those condos also come with pretty high of maintenance fee. Now during COVID-19, I can't believe that single family houses which price ranges between $800k - $1 million from Metro Oahu to Hawaii Kai are very high demand and go escrow within few days after posting. I thought that during pandemic, I would have more chance to get house easier but not at all. This time, there are still a lot of stable income first home buyers in Honolulu who are ready to buy and there are a lot investors who are ready to buy houses with cash offer as well. It is very crazy market right now especially single family homes with price below $1 million.

    Hi jeremy, I sold my home in Daly City, Ca and made some profit. My wife and I purchased another townhouse property in CA. I wanted to know if I can invest my 100K on a condo or townhouse in Honolulu. I like to stay in the Oahu. I used to work for a company for 17yrs but somehow disability happened so now I'm on Long term disability with my work's insurance. Would that still be a good document of income to invest a rental property there?
