Wow .. this video is fire, Murs first line, the beat, the camera angles are everything in this video, the lyrics, Murs outfit - I've never heard of you before Murs but I'm definitely a fan - you doing your thing! No body has an excuse to not be out there working...you used what you had and made that ish lit because the whole video was in one location, but I was mesmerized the whole time listening to all of you rap. @cbone1982 I would say the last verse was not up to par but overall much better than most stuff being released since it all sounds the same.
@cbone1982 the business model doesn't necessitate albums any longer. Production cost and marketing cost are much lower so you don't need to put out a $15 per unit product to recoup. Plus consumers rather listen to only hit songs and not waste their time getting into an artist head, I don't agree but it is what it is. So artist just crank out as many songs as need be until one resonates. If they get 3 or 4 songs streaming big numbers it's just as good as selling a million albums. So every few months future has a project and puts out 8 to 20 tracks an like 2 are decent. But that keeps his stream numbers up.
@cbone1982 He isn't my cup of tea but he and Young Thug from my memory they kinda took this wave to where it is if they didn't actually start it. But I was just using his catalog of work to exemplify the new rap artist career path and how albums play a very miniscule role in artist financial success.
