I agree with Chris on this. I think the players played more freely when Zach Wilson was the quarterback because they knew he was trash. Especially the defense. The defense last year almost seemed like they knew they had to be perfect every game or they weren’t gonna win and that was probably the message Robert Salah was telling them all year to motivate. Now they have Aaron back and they arent supposed to have to be perfect but they still do need to be and the to do so is gone now. They fired him.
Bob is getting the strongest 8 hours of sleep in his life right now somewhere in Jersey. He’s earned it after dealing with this circus act.
The biggest problem with the Jets is not just that Aaron hasn’t had a huge impact on the offense its the defense isn’t as good as it’s been. The secondary is banged up, only really Sauce is healthy, and the D-line is not that good. Clemens is bad, so is Kinlaw, and what people don’t realize is McDonlds stats are inflated and he’s just a ok player.
Anyone who actually watches the games agrees with you. You’ll never win if you can’t stop the run. And the run d has been terrible all year. The d line also creates no pressure. Zuerlein also lost two games for them. But all you hear is Rodgers this Rodgers that. He doesn’t look amazing by any means but they could easily be 4-3
They have played good enough to win more then they lost. And you need the offense to score a td in the 2nd half to help win...DUH
