Actually it's Satanael, which is not the same as Lucifer exactly. Satanael is the figure in Gnosticism which opposes Yaldaoboth, or the Demiurge. In Gnosticism, the Demiurge may have created the Earth and Man but he was never the True God (the Lord of Spirits) but instead a mistake born from Sophia ("God's Wisdom", literally) and Chaos (Matter). When Sophia's mistake was discovered, the Demiurge had already created Man and gifted him with the spark of divinity, i.e. a Soul. But the divine soul was never meant to be trapped in the material world, bound by limitations such as emotions, attachments and greed and the fear of death, nor was it meant to be eternally kept within a garden for the Demiurge's amusement. And so the Lord of Spirits and Sophia sought out Satanael, one of the Demiurge's faithful creations, and told him the truth of existence. Samael was also the husband of Lilith and a member of the Qipploth that opposed the Sephirot. Of course im possibly wrong about some of this, its been a few years since i brushed up on my Kabbalah mythos

Her love for how chuuni things are is pretty infectious. I wonder if she's played Asura's Wrath, I get the feeling she'd love some of the fights in that.
I enjoyed most of these. While most are disgusting, they are cool transformations. Madarame, Kaneshiro, Wakaba, Sae, Akechi, Shido, Cendrillion, and Maruki. 😄
Most bosses: *turn into a cool unique monster* Shadow Oumura: *just makes you fight the same ass enemeies you fought earlier in the original version, does nothing himself and jsut sits on a lame chair* even royal doesn't give the man a transformation, just adds a fight with a fake robot haru. Shittiest boss in the game.
Is it a hot take to say i think most of the english voices were better? I feel like maruki especially was better in english. But these moments are still great in either language
I’m pretty sure my first reaction to every boss was “Nani the fuck?!?” All for different reasons. I know that some people prefer the Japanese dubs when it comes to games like this but you gotta admit, English Dub has its moments
