14 minutes into this and you show 5000% more game awareness and intelligence than any other gaming TH-camr I've ever - EVER - seen. I'm kind of blown away that you actually look around and double-check things. I can tell I'm going to enjoy this playthrough!
Pro tip: The blue outline shown around avaiable choices means that you will perform some action (for example "Sacrifice self" during the hostage situation). Other options without the blue outline are dialogues.😀
A quick note at the beginning of the video: It's not just the likeness and voices of the actors, this was made using the actors and motion capture. They actually acted out all of the optional scenes that you can choose from.
I’m pretty sure it was everybody’s… At least all the girls that didn’t prefer simping over Connor But Kara was my favorite because of her character, I wasn’t a huge fan of Alice-she was too bland and not childlike enough… I never really believed she was alive
@@brieezy. not at all, a lot of people said Kara's story was "unnecessary" and kind of but the intention was to show the story of a "vulnerable" android. Not the leader (Markus) or the super soldier (Connor) A story for us to feel empathy.
@@brandonleon4068 I preferred Marcus'. I liked Kara's story, it was very emotional. But I genuinely felt Marcus' struggle to be very real for his fight for civil rights and seeing his people be mistreated. I kind of resonated with that.
I never seen that first scene of Connor getting absolutely obliterated while still being on the rooftop like omg it’s been years and I thought I seen it all 😭
The actor who played Connor and his wife (she is a side-character in the game too) have a twitch channel. Besides several runs through the game they did a special where they used every possible way to kill Connor. So no, he's not gone. You can kill him several times, he'll come back as long as Cyberlife cares for him. Kara and Markus stay dead tho, so be careful with them.
Your voice is so soothing you actually might be my new fav streamer to watch I also love how you take the time to look at every detail. You’ve caught almost everything only because you don’t rush through the play through. You actually appreciate the time and effort put into the game, I love that so much. Most streamers just get to the main mission without seeing the life around. Cheers
I see what they did there. When they made the Androids stand in the back of the bus... kinda similar to racism back in the day.🤔 And when they are talked about how Android s were joining sports... Almost like what's happening with trans woman joined sports🤔🤔. That was smart making it similar to real life.😉
I've seen lots of DBH playthroughs but yours and Jacksepticeye's are my favourite. I love that you try to put yourself in the place of the humans and their concerns instead of straight away just sympathising with the androids👍
The androids standing in the bus reminded me SO much of that scene in Divergent after they've been injected and are basically androids. So similar. Kinda freaky too.
For personally I explore and take my time with every game I play. I agree,it's bad ppl don't take they're time and enjoy the game. One of my favorite moments near the beginning is when Kara found "Todd's drugs in the laundry room and he caught her. Such a real life moment. I've grew up with ppl who dealed with a lot. It's really good to hear feelings and thoughts in this game's situations.👍
I remember playing the demo of this over and over. Everyone I ever subscribed to owned and played this game. 4:41 "Why aren't you sending in a real person!" 😂 . I still love that 😂
Looking forward to this series with you playing it ! Can’t wait to see your choices evolve the story and the paths chosen ! Get ready for an emotional roller coaster
I think Kara is my favorite, but they are all so unique and intriguing that it is hard for me to say for sure. I'm curious if since you have played it before, if you will be able to remember differences between your choices before and your choices now. I do think there are a few different endings for each of the main characters.
You can go out back before you tell Todd you're done with the first floor. You talk to Alice, get the laundry, and find Todd's drug stash in the detergent. He slams you into the wall and says to mind your business.
Oh man, I LOVE the futuristic and utopian aesthetic and designs of this game. I love the music, the art, the story. It's one of those timeless beautiful flowers that will never wither.
To be honest a lot of the choices you were surprised about make sense through the eyes of a gamer's perspective. Many gamers will always be at least prepared to do violence or even do violence, even if it's against the rules or law, because gamers usually default to violence. If we were to put them in a DnD category, they would be murder hobos lol. This also explains why only 13% caught the reading material. You're exploring and engaging in every aspect of the game, fully diving into its beauty. Many gamers aren't like that. Instead, the focus is on how much content do they need to explore to have them reach the next stage of the game. I remember talking to Anna about this on a different video when she was surprised that her choice was in a minority. I just told her that means her mindset doesn't match the traditional gamer in this choice. The traditional gamer mindset isn't the same as if you took the average joe/jane from across the street and have them play a game. Also Marcus is definitely my favorite story line. It's clearly obvious Marcus's path is influenced from irl civil rights movement. So for some of us, it hits towards the core.

The way the top floor in Todd's house is laid out is one of those little things that clues you into the fact that it was not made by Americans. In most European houses, the toilet is in a separate room from the bath and all the other parts that come together to make a bathroom. There are a few of those sorts of things. They also have two taps in the sink, and have stall walls that go all the way to the floor in the bathrooms in buildings and things like that. Also, they always refer to things in metric, and for some reason Americans are just wholly against that. My personal favorite, which is just a bit that totally jars. I don't know, you're just one of those people and that's not a bad thing. I personally enjoy all of my free time, without needing to be justified by my choices DOING something for someone else's benefit. Reading, writing, singing, learning... Just... Even if you DO want to be productive, the point is that you are free to do what you like and not just what you have to. Yeah, it's somewhat hedonistic, but... We are individuals with our own desires, and I think that should be empowered, not suppressed.
This game reminds me of another game where you can scan timelines.. In the future Humans don't work, everything is provided by the government. Androids do the work so there's no need for manual labor anymore and we can focus on travelling or music etc. In the game people are demonstrating for jobs, but in reality governments have that covered globally that they provide the basic needs ,so money is not functional anymore.
Hey Maggie! Just popping over from twitch. I know I commented there, too, but I enjoy your play by play analysis as you go through the game. I'm glad I found your channel. It's a lot of fun.
I like the star trek idealism where automation and efficiency got to a certain level, human labor wouldn't be required and would make money an outdated idea. The main problem is that people are addicted to the idea of earning or having workers

How cool, I will have to pause watching this so I can play it first then compare
The droids definitely had a huge impact on the worlds economy, but they didn’t make Detroit look like that (dreary/dark), that’s just Detroit.
Great video Detroit Become Human is a great game no doubt and I like all the characters you get to control.
just finished binging your ragnarok series, onto detroit this is gna be good
22:30 I'll never understand light mode things🤣 it's like we're all calm and then the game decides to shine a strong ass led flashlight in my face😵🤣
Hellya, second chance replays les goo :D
This game reminds me of another game where you can scan timelines..
In the future Humans don't work, everything is provided by the government.
Androids do the work so there's no need for manual labor anymore and we can focus on travelling or music etc.
In the game people are demonstrating for jobs, but in reality governments have that covered globally that they provide the basic needs ,so money is not functional anymore.
Hey Maggie! Just popping over from twitch. I know I commented there, too, but I enjoy your play by play analysis as you go through the game. I'm glad I found your channel. It's a lot of fun.
I've also been subscribed to the actor who played "Connor on his TH-cam back when he first started. It's booming now, and his wife is awesome too.
😊 honestly it’s cool seeing people revisit these games. 😅 sometimes I wonder if someone will play heavy rain again. So this is pretty cool ❤
I love this game and your choice based gameplay tactics! So excited❤🎉🎉😂
She walked right past the cop laying on the ground right beside her on by the pool. 😊
Oh this is going to be good 🔥🔥🔥
I like the star trek idealism where automation and efficiency got to a certain level, human labor wouldn't be required and would make money an outdated idea. The main problem is that people are addicted to the idea of earning or having workers
31:59 just so you know that's what it looks like here lol love your videos btw
Her AI voice over is top notch 👌. Nice graphics.
