    If I want to test output power of car headunit , what dummy load should be used?

      I don't do car audio, but all you need to do is look up the specs for your unit; it will say something like so-and-so many watts into a certain number of ohms.

      @@OldSchoolElectronics for example, kenwood krc 666g rated 22 watts rms at 4 ohms load. So how to tesy it?

      Ok, you already have the answer. Your dummy load resistor has to have 4 ohms (one for each channel). For a simple test you simply feed in a sine wave of the standard 1,000 Hz frequency.
