- Hello everyone,
I wanted to share a little tribute to all the lost souls who gave up their lives for all that we have today. Our country, our freedom, our lives are all thanks to their brave souls.
This is a really easy and simple wreath with a single felt poppy to pay tribute to all those souls on Remembrance Day.
MATERIALS USED:

Hey Dave, very nice tribute to all of our veterans no matter where. Here in the states we call it Veterans Day. A job well done. Thank you for remembering. ❤ My mom always told the story of how she and dad took the train to NYC for the day to see the sights and see a show. During the show everything went black, the house lights came on. It was announced that all service men and women report back to their bases immediately with no explanation as to why. My parents left the theatre and happened to look up at the ticker tape in Times Square and saw that Pearl Harbor was under attack. Everything came to a standstill and people were in the streets wondering where Pearl Harbor was. They had never heard of it. Back at the train station recruiters from all branches of the service were actually recruiting guys, on the spot, getting ready to board their trains. No questions asked. They needed more military pronto. The Marines were looking for big guys - tall and sturdy - and that's how my dad became a Marine!! I always remember that story on 11/11. Thank you, Dave, for your kind remembrance and lovely wreath.😊😊😊

Poppies come in all colors and have a lot of meaning all around the world. We use the red, black, green for our veterans on Memorial Day in May.
Red for the blood shied, Black is for the families of loved ones who never came home, Green is for the battle on Flanders field. After the war that is the only thing that grew.
Veteran days is for the people that and still are fighting somewhere, celebrated in November.
