I bought this model but after doing the preliminary hearing to take the smell of plastic (3 times), I can still smell plastic. What am I to do, please ? I am hungry 😅 Thank you.🙂
Will do that again and hope it stops the smell of pladtic. Going shopping on Tuesday and will let you know if my chips will be IK. I wonder if Amazon sent me one that was returned because it has no sticky rape on the sides or cardboard inside 🙄 Thank you so much and I promise I will let you know in Wednesday if it OK to use....if not then I will get in touch with Amazon. He!lo again 🙂 Update. I bought chips and chicken nuggets today, came home and put them in the freezer. Now, comes the fun bit. Did the same as before and as you suggested but still the smell of plastic was there. However, I was hungry and thought why not try a few chips....so I added some mixed spices +more to cover the plastic smell that was lingering, and cooked them. I did press the Shake "Button "for 10 minutes but it didn't stop so, I stop it and shook the tray and back it went for another 10 minutes. Result ? Excellent crispy crinkled chips with a waft of plastic still in the air.....The herbs helped. I say down and are my first attempt and hope that with washing and cooking that p!active smell will vanish ! You have been very kind and I appreciate that a lot. Bless you and take care. Maybe wait for 30 mins and then try again. 210 for 4 mins and see if the smell is less. Let me know how you get on
