Wow! That's a great buck! Congrats! Nice camp setup too, the only thing I'd add is a 10x10 pop up canopy for a porch and some scrap carpet outside the door. Looks like a great time!
Nice buck. Deer camp is so different for everyone. I enjoyed watching your setup. My deer camp is a 4 mile hike up the mountain, set up a regular tent, and sleep on the ground for a week. I need your setup, haha. Thanks for sharing
@@adventureswithken1983 I based my set up off some old timers that hunted the upper peninsula, but focused more on a single person setup. The old timers would stack bunks in the tent and pack as many people in but I like the idea of comfort. I can appreciate different set ups!
Nice video. Stormy Kromer! I like to wear mine and represent Michigan. Unless you accidentally brought that spider with you from somewhere else, I assume it was a wolf spider. Hopefully anyway. The brown recluse would be rare I think. And definitely unwelcome in the tent! Anyway, nice buck!
I love the stormy Kromer! It was way too warm for it but always gotta represent. After more research that night they were definitely wolf spiders, 🕷️ thanks for watching and commenting! Appreciate the kind words
Got excited to set up camp, made a mistake! It’s all good I had everything I needed to be in the woods for up to a week and could have gotten out of if I needed to. I put the truck in 4wd as I came down the hill as it’s all greasy clay. I don’t like spinning and making a mess if I can avoid it.
My area has been really warm up until last week. Warm temps can alter feeding schedules to make deer move when I’m not able to get out. Every season is different, it happened for me this year.

Try some Dan-O's original seasoning. It works on anything. I like it better than Tony Chachere's.
Will definitely try that! Thanks for the suggestion and for watching

Why would you go out hunting and think you’re not going to shoot a deer
you've never hunted obviously. lol especially in the UP. our winters are usually too harsh, most people dont even see bucks.
