They blasted the bearing pockets just like the rest of the knife and while mine did break in more over time, it wasn't good enough. So I used my dremel and a wool polishing wheel with diamond compound and polished the bearing pockets and is way better. I don't know why they didn't cover up the bearing pockets before blasting the scales.
Nice pickup, the archor is a great knife made really well and great attention to detail. I did a flipper delete and extend the sharpening choil area for better sharpening and better choke up.
Not sure if you have seen the Rockwall. But it's nice. Little small, bigger than the bexar but full titanium scale w/ nested liner for $300. It's my fav USA knife for $300.
I have owned 2 but found the thumbstud one too uncomfortable for me and my big meaty fingers. The flipper I liked a lot but always hoped they’d make a Rockwall XL. They are well made!
@Robs_Nerdy_Knives Ya I could see that. They do hurt the thumb a little.. I'm pretty sure they will I emailed them about that. And sounds like alot of people are starting to ask for it.
It is but some beans are preferred over others. It is ultimately up to you and your taste in beans. I just hope me sharing mine can help you in some small way to find your right beans! 🤜💥🤛👍😉
I just bought the archer. Mine has a little side to side blade play. It’s also off-center when closed, and the Blade bumps up against the inside of the handle a little. Not sure if thats normal with these but I’m just not really feeling that for what I paid, so I’m going to return it. I’ll probably get a Chris Reeves or something comparable instead.
Your pivot screw is loose and needs to be tightened. Any decent knife, especially higher end knives, can have a pivot unloosen when used. This is why a good tool set tools (torx bits, stubby driver, etc.) and Locktite. I have all of those knives and they are great… as great as the Archer is.

Yeah, it has taken a while to break in.
Love it or hate it, the Archer is a STATEMENT.
Agreed.

That sounds cool. Do you have any pics or videos to share?
thanks for showing the acustics are different
Sometimes a knife’s acoustics can be amazing.

Awesome pickup #678 🔥 you can just about open your own knife shop
LOL. Is #678… maybe that I have handled but maybe not quite what I have owned… yet. 😳🤔😉🤓
Beauty
Nice one!
Thanks!
$600 is just too much imo, would rather get a Sebenza.
I like those, too, and have both. 🤜💥🤛
600 is a lot of beans...

Worth the beans for sure ;)
I like it.

Too bad it's so small. I would love this with a 4" blade instead. Also, with a smaller blade choil.
Thanx for the video my Bladed Brother 👍 ⚔️ ✝️ 🇺🇲
Thanks for watching! Yeah, it’s not for very large hands. I hear you.
