Hi Sister Miriam, we all want our love to be beautiful, and want to protect it , but we end up so broken . I was broken when i listened to your talk, yet I am a few years older than you . God led me to this.I needed to hear this in my broken state - I pray for myself and the person whom I claim broke my heart - no one wants to be discarded - but then again we need to realy understand theology of the body- this is tough, this is so needed today. Unfortunately, not everyone wants to "rise to the occasion." I hate that in people, but not everyone strives for perfects. Some just want to "slide along" in life or to just "get by." I once told a guy I was talking to that what he was really searching for in life was God. His response was "I hope not." Maybe he just wasn't ready, but the last I heard, he was still up to his old self-destructive behavior.
Interesting but the message is not clear to me, a man. I see many things unanswered such as the emphasis of looking within and how to do that precisely? What is this thing of addiction?Do not people worship the idol in the form of Identity,Role and Image? Indeed, does not our Lord rest in our Soul?I never knew love in many of its expressions existed because I was emotionally abused?Feelings of the men you talked about may not know love exist.Finding it will change you.God bless me to know this.

Indeed, here is addressed"social" consciousness or the 3rd temptation(billions invested to appease self pride,self aggrandizement,self dellusionment,etc.).Chasity is a defense against this"social"consciousness of Lusts(addictions to intellectualism,drugs,emotions,etc.).It is said that evilness Lust for the Human soul.Chasity is only periperally discussed here.
