These are gray market prices. The RRPs are less than half of what she's claiming it to be. It all boils down to your ADs. The waitlist stretches a few years. You'd have to buy a dozen other watches to move up the list.

Mahal nyan due to the craftmanship sa pag manufacture, the mechanisms, the complications ng mechanical watches. Ideal investment yan and hopefully ganyan pa rin ang trend ng luxury watches until the next generation since these watches are ideal to hand down to children.

These type of expensive watches actually is not just to wear it, but its a investment!!! The one I have is the Patek 5270 and classic Rolex oyster!...sabi ng iba pangalan lang daw ang binabayaran dito, Mali and akala nila. Dahil to create one of the watch as far as I know like Patek is takes 2 years to built it, and because of the complicated parts and quality. But most of all you have to make appointment to owned it.

20 + years ago middle manager ako noon nakapag ipon ng 200k para sa rolex ngayon kabaliwan na bumili ng halos milyon na rolex kakawindang. abot pa sa bulsa noon yan basta magsikap ka. kung milyon gastusin mo real estate na yan o painting

I wish she has more knowledge about the watches and watch complications other than the price. Patek and AP has more class than just Rolex. Some of those with yellow gold would lose value. White gold and GMT's (Pepsi) are more sought after in the market. Probably the most expensive on that list is the RM.

Hindi oras po ang pinagtalunan dyan kundi presyo. Mahal yan kasi may resale value parang lupa habang tumatagal x20 na ang resale value.

Maganda rin ang RADO Captain Cook or Diastar kung ang budget ay ₱150k. Hindi ko kakagatin yung Apple, Samsung or Huawei smartwatch, mas maganda pa rin ang Seiko, Citizen ng Japan, RADO, Longines, Breitling, Tissot at iba pang kilalang Swiss watch manufacturers. Meron na mas mahal pa sa Rolex ang Jaeger LeCoultre, Vacheron Constantin, Panerai.
You buy a $100 Seiko to check the correct time. You buy a $10,000 Rolex to show your friends that you finally made it big time.

Mas importante yung experience na nakapunta ka sa US tsaka pinaka importante ung may na ipon kang dolyar. Hirap kaya mag trabaho don. Share ko lang.

Julius, Buy here sa US. So much lower. The rose gold Daytona is $65k here pero Rolex sells it lower of course. The blue ice Daytona is $75k here in the US also. Tokyo also sells it lower.
not a watch collector..poor boy lang..pero yung nautilus na patek is actually cheaper kung iconvert mo sa dollars...sa states...230K dollars pataas kasi nga discontinued na...the rest is over price like yung Daytona panda...lumalabas na 40K dollars sya..but then again..any watch will do basta tama ang oras...
Kung marami ka pera mejo addicting din tlga mag collect ng watches...same for other collections...kung may pambili walang problema yan
best investment is stock it is liquid then if you have more, invest in properties then luxury items.

Watches are cheaper here in Japan. I've just been to a Rolex shop and the price of watches here are way cheaper than in the Philippines.

Ako rin may mga collection na relo but will never buy from gray market, its to overprice. Bumili ako ng 5 Tudor na relo sa isang AD in a one year at tinanong ko suki ko if they can prioritize me on rolex and they say sorry we cannot guaranty or reserve you, kaya mas maganda Glashutte or Omega always available with discount.
Gold is better then watches! Because the watch can become Sira and to pay to repair mas mahal yan! But the Gold you can buy beautiful young woman with it any time!

i am a watch collector but not of fancy watches. I have been to many 2nd hand shops for watches in the middle east and the most common wristwatch you will see in their display is rolex. I dont know why.

Not sure if those watch brands are still worth to consider as investments. Their time to appreciate in value has passed as narrated by seller. Since they are still a fad and fanciful items, just consider them as expenses and simply enjoy having them. That’s it.
Gold and silver metals are the real undervalued items to invest in (secretly, because the world governments could impose up to 80-90% taxes to take away the value without actually taking the items).
