You definitely notice the input delay when you go side to side in any game but this worked

you can use Free-sync with Nvidia cards but you need to use a Displayport connection

surprisingly it fixed, my monitor has "gsync compatible even though it only has freesync and i have no amd but didnt give much input lag not noticeable tbh ( valorant )

If screen tearing is happening in your browser, just turn hardware acceleration on. That worked for me.

when i put on vsync in geforce panel it automatically puts my frames at 60 and leaves it like that when i have unlimited frames on and vsync off in game. help
You could enable gysnc from a freesync monitor btw

Hey Pink, I've been watching you tutorials for a while now. I have an important question. I stream and make content for youtube. I'm looking for a 144hz+ monitor for a smoother gameplay. These are my specs;
Msi gtx 1060 6gb - i5 8400 - 16 gb 8*2 ram
I have been thinking to get this - Asus VG248QG.
I would really appreciate if you tell me if this is what I should get. I mostly play fps games.
its perfect but not 144 hz plus only buy 144 hz as gtx 1650 will drop frames if you cap at 240 so 144hz exact is better

It will decrease your performance by almost 2.0X , I recommend a 2060 RTX Atleast for a good performance.
Dude, i got exaxt the Same specs and the Same Monitor, from asus Right? Mine has 165hz, BUT on Display cable work for me. I testet 6 Different cables and i‘m always stucked at 60hz. Please, i need Help

There literally isn't other gaming GPU developers aside from Nvidia, AMD and Intel (Can't even call it gaming GPU since it's integrated). And across the board all have the same settings.

i get decent fps and completely randomly its drops down to a really low frame rate
and my fps is super inconsistent
by decent i mean 50-130 its really inconsistent and i get a lot of screen tearing and v sync is too much so i try to get used to it

Do not turn up your fps the only thing I will do is make your screen tearing woarst as your fps isn't matching your refresh rate and what is the point of v-sync if your displaying higher fps than you can handle.
Screen tearing is due to your monitor not matching your refresh rate so making it higher will make it woarst as you can't run the fps.

Try reducing 3d resolution to 90% if 100% is on. It will drastically reduced your input delay and screen tearing!!!

@@darthvader8982 frames is different from FPS. He meant frame rate above you monitor refresh rate. So like if you have a 60hz monitor but are hitting 100 FPS
This is the worst video explaining the situation. For example, if you have a 60hz display, play at 60fps to not get any tearing. You get tearing when the game fps don't match with the display and it causes skipping in between the frames. The more frames you have over the hz, the more tearing you get. Set the fps to the monitor's refresh rate.

Theoretically this should fix the issue but I'm another one experiencing tearing and my FPS are fixed at 60 like the 60Hz of my monitor. I fixed it activating the v-sync in the menu settings of my game but it is a little bit laggy to me.

Just enable "Fast Sync" from nvidia control panel and set "Low latency mode" to on. Also set the frames limiter to maximum. You will have no tearing and very low latency.
