I love the Institute, and in fact composed the Latin inscription for American donors in their chapel. But the joke is funny: ‘What is the charism of the ICK?’ Answer: ‘Lace.’
What is very worrisome, however, is that we depend so much on Cardinal Burke for these ceremonies around the world, with Bishop Schneider often assisting. What are we to do when these great Catholic churchmen go to their eternal reward?
A very frightening question. But we still have Cardinal Vigano and Bishop Strickland.

My Lord God please give us back the true and holy mass you gave to us.
Remember in your prayers those of us who were treated as schismatic, disobedient, and outside the visible boundaries of the church back in the 1970's by some of those who wore the mitre in the church because of out attachment to our ancient traditional Holy Mass. In those days the traditional Holy Mass was celebrated in shop lots, hotel rooms, people's homes, village halls and community centres and often in secret because of the hostility of the local bishop or parish priest and a hostile press. There is no great love and respect for tradition by some of those in high places in the Vatican.
The Jesuits were suppressed and distrusted for their closeness to the Pope and his power in the religious and political affairs of independent nations.
Traditional Catholic societies and Institutes may be suppressed in the future as being not close enough to the Pope and his wishes for a progressive (false) ecumenism and
dividing the Church.

They work incredibly hard to bring us the Sacraments and doctrine of traditional Catholic Faith, and build great schools for our children. It is gratifying that there are still good and faith filled families encouraging their sons to the priesthood, especially for the traditional mass. When I was considering the priesthood for myself, I saw what the seminaries, at least in Chicago, were ordaining. It was appalling, and didn't want to be poisoned by that so I did not consider it further. Had the institute been in existent when I was in high school I think I would have entered. I'm 62 now, but try to at least support the ICKSP as much as I can. As well as the other groups of priests who are devoted to the traditional form of mass. God bless you all and hoping your institute will grow.

Goodness, I haven’t seen those angular hats with the fluffy ball in the centre for about 50 years. Our old canon in Turners Cross, Cork used to have one. But he died in 1973 and I haven’t seen one since. Also what is this turning of the priest’s back to the congregation. Again a very old practice from pre Vatican 2 days.

Such a magnificent occasion, thank God for True Vocations & the Reverence of the whole community in welcoming these young men into the Service of Christ through The Institute of Christ The King.
Just a concern..I am very surprised that the dresses worn by the female choir members are so short in length. They look disrespectful in such a sombre traditional & conservative ceremony surely there is a dress code for the choir members.
At 6.28 the camera focuses on the front view, dresses are definitely way too short..
