I watched this 1st episode in amazement back in April of 2001. when every other show looked like the Price is Right, this one was pitch black and quiet; every other audience was like Let's Make a Deal, but this one was silent; instead of a smiling Pat Sajak, it was Anne Robinson. 😮 It was extraordinary in every way. I was hooked and still am a huge fan. Who's as useless as an ashtray on a motorcycle? 😂😂😂
The syndicated version of "TWL" was emceed by George Gray, who acted more like a traditional game show host than Anne Robinson did. George currently serves as announcer on "The Price Is Right".
No, she's right. The highest temperature ever recorded was in El Azizia, Libya at 136.4°F on September 13, 1922. The Second highest was in Furnace Creek, California, United States at 134°F on July 10, 1913.

Hello, I really like the weakest link of United States, very good show, I am a big fan of the weakest link, since childhood I am a fan of this TV Show, when I was a little boy I watched a lot of the weakest link, I watched it with my parents and I was very entertained watching it (well, here I am referring to the weakest link of my country), I am still a fan of this show. Well, I have noticed that the weakest link in the United States stopped airing on TV two months before the one here in Mexico was released, I am not saying this to make fun or something like that, it is just a comment, because when I researched information about the time of transmission of each of the versions of the weakest link I noticed that the one in the United States stopped airing on TV about two months before the one here in Mexico was released, greetings from Mexico.

I loved this show when I was a kid. I never understood why it just ended. It was so popular for like a year and then it just went away.
They left... with nothing.
The game show is back again.
@@plushbatfan it’s not the same though only Anne Robinson could fill that role in my opinion

14:37 the way she said “Marcus” and then got eliminated 😂
Probably a re-recording so she knew she was going so decided to give it a bit of sass
He acted like a big baby though...
It feels kind of surreal watching this episode after watching 2 Seasons of the reboot series made 20 years later.
The reboot is so good, and Jane lynch is a great host
Jeff: I was their best shot at winning the million dollars!
Also Jeff: loses them 10,000 dollars by not knowing Frosty the Snowman song

Much better than today's version..
Ever since Anne Robinson quit starring it went downhill
I really liked the early episodes of US Weakest Link
Mark your calendars April 16th, 2024 23rd anniversary of weakest link.

James doesn't understand how he got voted off. Yet he voted off in the round previously even though he was the weakest link in that round.

That was because the celebs always got some money for their charities so they didn’t go home with nothing

Jeff, Marcus, and Renee would have been perfect candidates for the Bad Losers special
Kira, Karin, James & Mary would also be good candidates, basically everyone except John would be in the Bad Losers Special for me
