Although I always loved "What a Feeling" sung by Irene Cara, I never watched Flashdance until this summer. Watching it was prompted by seeing "The L Word" series (on Netflix) for the first time too. Though she has been well known for the past 30 years, I have just discovered what an amazingly intelligent, beautiful and talented actress Jennifer Beals is ...and even more importantly...what incredible depth of HEART and SOUL she has...
