I know that he is a Natural Actor but not aware of his writing abilities. It is good that he left India otherwise he will get such heart breaks more often. I knew that he passed away but the reason was under to me till this episode. Thanks for creating the episode!
I didn’t know much about this actor even though I have seen his songs. Your presentation is excellent and captivating, Hoshangji. Too bad his life was short…😢
Liked the information appreciate your endeavour One thing highlighted is that though you have continued your mother’s channel but presentation style is your own not copied her Good keep it up
That's sad to hear he passed away. I always enjoyed his work. Dude was a really versatile and good actor. Breaks my heart when good actors like him don't get their dues.
He was a highly talented natural actor. His screen presence used to be so impressive. I loved his work in movies. In the month of April 2020, India lost three great actors. Ranjit Choudhary was one amongst them. The other two were Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. May the departed souls rest in peace. Om Shanti. 🙏🙏
Not many people know that Ranjit also wrote the screenplay and dialogues of the popular Doordarshan TV show ‘Malgudi Days‘. बहुत कम लोग जानते हैं कि रंजीत ने दूरदर्शन के लोकप्रिय शो 'मालगुडी डेज' का स्क्रीनप्ले और डायलॉग भी लिखे थे।
I remember him from the episode in The Office, being Michael's coworker in his nightly job. Even though it was a brief role, it's still worth remembering. Rest in peace, Mr. Choudhary.
I think I first saw him in khatta meetha. This was back in the 80s and the movie was shown on Doordarshan. I always wanted to know his name because I instantly liked his acting. He was a very natural actor. Bollywood was and is not a good place for actors like him. But he was excellent in all of his movies. Heart felt condolences to his wife and son.
Ranjeet Choudhary!!! You were a great natural actor.we really enjoyed your unique dialogues delivery. We feel extremly proud of you.May God give sadgati to your pure soul.
It was amazing to hear about this actor. We the audience saw and remembered him often. But it was sad to hear about his demise. The way he left without seeing his family was very unfortunate. God rest his soul in peace.🙏.
It's 12 o clock midnight right now i came to know that a wonderful natural actor passes away and I m weeping bitterly and remembering him a lot, such a fantastic actor he was
It's truly saddening to learn that he is no longer with us. Artists have a unique way of etching themselves into our lives through their work, and it's poignant when we realize they are no longer among us. This channel isn't just about artist and characters; it's a reflection of an era we all cherish and grew up with.
Too sad but he really lived dignified life .Today came to know too much about such great actor which most of us were not aware i am sure .Thank you for sharing .
I have always thought of him as the OG cool guy of Hindi cinema. He had a very carefree groovy aura about him, especially in his early works. RIP, Ranjit ji, I hope you get a higher and better platform for your talents in the next realm.
I'm so saddened to hear about the fantastic actor that Ranjit Chowdhry's sad demise. He was truly a wonderful actor. We were so enamored by his natural acting in those days. He made us laugh and smile as we could easily relate to his roles in the movies. I remember his wonderful acting in Khubsoorat, Khatta Meetha and Baton Baton Mein. May God continue to cover his family and bless them.
Ranjit jee ke bare mein koi jankari nahi thi. Aaj ka episode kafi informative raha. 👍🏼 Unke akhri dinoke bare mein sunke bura laga. Bhagwan unke bete aur biwi ko sari khushiyan de 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Humare mann mein natkhat naujawan ki unaki image sada bani rahegi. Om Shanti ⚘🙏🏼
So sad to learn about Ranjit Chaudhry passing away. He was a good one in real sense. Made the public feel his presence with his natural skills of acting. May the Almighty bless the departed soul.
Very Well and Wonderfully Presented by you Hoshang. Very much like your mamma - our Very Dear Tabassum j. Very Great Start by you. Wish you all the Very Best. Great emotive speaking.
Ranjit sahab jab Bollywood me movie kiye the, unka sab movie dekhe hain humne. Lajawab movies sab woh.... Aapko bahot shukriya unke baare me information share karne ke liye🙏🏼🙏🏼
Bade kamaal ki baat hai.... Don't know whether it's a mere coincidence or not. Ranjeet ji ke scenes jo jo movies mein kaate gaye the usme har baar amitabh bacchan jarur se saath mein the. Kahi aisa toh nahi ki Ranjeet ji ke roles katwane mein the great bacchan ji ka hi haat ho??!! 🤷🤷 Reasons can be insecurity or something like this from amitabh bacchan's side. Because Ranjeet sir ji was a very versatile and impactful actor after all! With his acting he might have overshadowed bacchan in some instances. I don't know, may be I am making a wild guess over here. But this thing is very much possible... Bacchan has done these things in the past with some of the popular actors. God bless Ranjeet ji wherever he is and give strength to his family. He was a terrific actor... Totally in the league of people like Amol Palekar and legendary Utpal Dutt sahab!
I have been following this channel over a decade and I must say you have taken the heavy baton of Tabassum Ji forward very well. I won't say you have overshadowed her but yes you have your own style, expressions and voice modulation which is no less. The way you have put it across was extremely crisp and engaging. Thank you for all your deep research and editing.

Thank you for sharing this. I loved his work. He was fabulous in all the older movies. I watched him in the office and didn’t even realise it’s him. He was very talented and his diversity is commendable. Played every character so realistically. That’s the mark of a great actor. RIP Ranjit Chaudhary.
A very touching video on Ranjit Chaudhary, he was a very known face in many households in India due to his lovely acting in movies like Khatta Meetha, Baato Baato Mein & Khoobsurat. It was a real joy to learn that he was the son of Pearl, both the mother - son duo were versatile theatre actors. Alyque Padamsee being his step father, his creativity must have definitely been inspired. He must have been felt hurt when his role was considerately cut to size when Kalia was actually released. His migration to Canada & his love for theatre brought him back into the limelight & he found some good work in Indo Canada joint ventures. He got to work with hollywood actors too. Interestimg that he got a chance to work with Mr Amitabh once again in Kaante, life came a full circle. Felt really low at the end that he was stuck up in India during the lockdown & breathed hus last in 2020, he could not go back to see his family😢 A very very tragic end to the life of Ranjit Chaudhary. Thanks for making this video ❤
Very nice. Suddenly I realized the character Marvin Gudat in Prison Break was played by him. Although it was a very small role but as he is called one of the best Natural Actors, I could not forget that scene.
From polishing Amitabh’s shoes to threatening to put him in jail (Kaante), he had a wonderful career. Great video sir. Amazing research on this talented man. May he RIP 🙏
Bahut achi presentation thi Bhai, Tabassum ji ko toh koi bhul nahi sakta specially jo hum log hai 80-90s k log phool khile hai gulshan gulshan hum sab ka favourite show hua karta tha but aap ki bhi presentation bahut achi thi
Thank you for this episode , you made my day , we judge people by how little we know about their journey ... but so so happy to hear all this that I had never known , sorry that he passed away but so happy that he still made his mark , so happy that he kept working , in all the decades and till recently .... every journey is different , yet so inspiring ...Bollywood and his country got left behind but he continued his journey elsewhere , that's the spirit , loved it ... and now when I am seeing his film clips I remember seeing him in all these movies but never realised he was the same skinny boy from Khatta Meetha , thanks for this information and Hoshang thanks for taking Tabassum ji's legacy ahead.Keep it up, congratulation.
