  • Brandon Wilkins recorded all saxophones in this original composition in his studio and placed them in MIR Pro. Accompanied by Nicholas DeCrescent on the Vienna Imperial, he shows the sonic possibilities that open up when you're using MIR Pro!

This is amazing! I wonder (hopefully not a silly question) but this feels a lot like an end all be all reverb type of plugin when it comes to placing all instruments in the same room! Wow 🙌🏾

Wow, I underestimated MIR. You can almost translate the rooms reflections into its architecture, only by hearing it. You can almost see the room, so 3D is that sound. Cool.

Are the jazz players on their own library?

That's Brandon on all saxophones (recorded live) and Nicholas DeCrescent on the Vienna Imperial. You can't beat a good live performance on real instruments, but with us, you can get close ;-) Paul

@@ViennaSymphonicLibrary I'm struggling to figure out what is compatible with what... Especially with MIR Pro, and i've been searching for answers for months. The Piano he is using Says "Vienna Imperial". I don't know if that's Vienna representing your brand (Vienna Symphonic Libraries) or your individual collection (Vienna Instruments) and these redundancies cause painful amounts of unnecessary confusion... Is the Piano Synchron-Ized or Synchron... What about the the Saxophones.... Which library are they?
I'm not trying to be a Jerk here. But I'm doing everything which I can to find the cleanest library with the most features possible... AND less than 24 hours ago, I thought that was the Vienna Instruments. But now, I think that it MIGHT be the Synchron-Ized Line-up... Because people in different forums say that there is the Synchron stage imprint, others say that it's not, others say that the Impulse Response can be turned on and off...
Again, I'm not trying to be a jerk... But after months of research (on and off) I am barely any closer to deciding on a library, and it is because information is all over the place and the contexts for how products interact with one another are simply absent in far too many places, relative to the vast amount of information. I mean, MIR should (If nowhere else) contain all of the information about which of your product-line-ups are immediately/natively compatible with venues, vs need adjustment or what features accommodate libraries to use the venues to their best.
I really want to purchase a library to support MIR... But I am a middle aged student on a fixed income, and cannot afford to make errors forcing me to purchase more libraries. I can't and won't. I'm sorry.
