"Entropy" by Thomas Pynchon

Meatball Mulligan throws a lease-breaking party at his apartment in Washington, D.C. in early February of 1957.
This was an early short story written by Pynchon, originally published in the Kenyon Review in 1960, while Pynchon was still an undergraduate. The story was also published in the short story collection 'Slow Learner', published in 1984.
