WWF Superstars Arcade - Completed, 1 credit, 1 bar damage

- This is a video I made of myself completing one of my favourite arcade games of all time, absorbing ALMOST no damage. I used the tag team combo of 'Macho Man' Randy Savage and the Big Boss Man. This was done on the normal arcade difficulty with one credit. Completing this game losing only a single bar is a difficult task, especially in the championship match. I got sloppy a couple times, for instance at the end of the first match:) But I think that makes it funnier to watch. Playing time is just under 5 minutes. Also watch other videos of WWF Superstars being completed with one credit:

Duggan & Honky Tonk: Coming soon!
R.i.p Macho Man.. R.i.p Warrior..R.i.p Boss man..R.i.p Andre..R.i.p Elizabeth....R.i.p Childhood Heroes.
Hook clothesline by Macho man....coolest move on the game! Best game ever!!
Time passes! 20 years ago I used to feed coins into this machine on the rare occasions my parents would take me to the amusement arcade at the coast. I was about 7 years old! I loved it. I lived for Hulk Hogan and WWF, 1989.
lol I love Bossman's eyebrow when he walks. Makes him look very skeptical.
RIP Macho, Bossman and André.
Back in the day, not many people knew Andre and Abore (the 2nd boss in Double Dragon: The Revenge) had the same moveset (slap, backhand, big kick, big push) and similar sprites.
Damn, I remember playing this and WrestleFest at the arcade as a kid...aww good times
My favorite character to pick was the Big Bossman.
Man, this reminds me of when I used to have to go to the landrymat with my grandma lol. This game made it all worth it
I PROMISE YOU, I'M TELLING THE TRUTH THAT THIS WAS MY FAVORITE ARCADE GAMES, THEN TURTLES IN TIME!!!
Haha the Andre/DiBiase promo towards the end was priceless! God I miss this game. A few years ago, I was lucky enough to find this in a small hotel arcade and played the shit out of it.
How fitting to have Macho Man in this replay! Thanks! Awesome game, awesome memories!
My friends and I played this game like crazy back in the day. This game is an all time classic. Thanks for posting the vid.
I dropped many quarters in the arcade machine on this game after school. So many great memories.
Macho feckin tossed Andre around as only a baby-face sprite could. "Oooh, yeah! You dig it!"
Ah memories. Used to rock the hell out of this game and Splatter House
Bravo, sir, bravo. Well done. Kudos. Bravo Zulu, you are a god amongst mere mortals.
I seriously think my local arcade had this keyed up to "hard" difficulty, because I remember pumping quarters into this thing like they were candy. Love the game, though.
Tks for the vid/gameplay.
At one time in his career, Macho Man had a major feud with every one in this game.
i agree.the thing with technos was that they were ahead of it's time.nobody thought of a 3d tetris when block out came out and it's still fun to play to this day and the beat em ups were all incredible.and to think they they came from the dada east camp.i think data east should have keep the 3 men who formed technos.i love data east but you don't let go of ideas like double dragon and kunio kun off your hands
Bossman was killing the opposition early on. Hahahaha Savage was domitating Andre with those backdrops!
One of favourite games when I was a kid. Bossman was the no.1 choice but used all of them for a challenge. I remember BBossman could headbutt Andre...not sure if Hacksaw could bulldog him though. Honkytonk was probably the hardest to use for me. Overall, great arcade classic. Thanks for the upload!!!
Haha - I loved this game. I remember my hotel in Orlando having it and was amazed! Use to make me laugh how I could never pick Andre up!!! :-)
I loved landing Macho Man's clothesline on Andre!
Also the voice acting of "Andre" and "Dibiase" is awesome...
Brings back memories. Me and my best friend use to go to seven eleven on our lunch break at elementary school and play this game. We were pretty good we could always make it to Dibiase and Andre but we could never beat them.
Ya know, Magic Mart is STILL there believe it or not, and I had the same memories you had seeing this vid. I also remember when Street Fighter 1 was there....I want my childhood back
It's been ages since I've seen this game. My friends and I played this game constantly back in the day. Thanks for the memories.
one interesting thing Technos did in this game is that when you throw your opponent out of the ring, and then move to the far left or right, you'll see Billy from Double Dragon
Such great memories of this game. My favorite move was the macho man clothesline
Seeing these great arcade classics makes me depressed about today's standards for wrestling and wrestling video games.
If I could, I'd go back in time in a heartbeat.
But hey, at least we have the memories right?
Amazing game. Played it all the time at the movie theatre where I grew up.
I loved using the Bossman and any other character. Get your opponent weak enough, and the automatic irish whip and Bossman Slam all the way up the ring.
I called it "beating a confession" out of the other guy. It always pissed off the other guy if I was playing a human opponent.
what great memories, the amount of cash i pumped into this machine as a kid, especially trying to beat Andre and Ted
I loved this game back then. One of my favorite things to do, especially if I was low on health or no health, was to lure them outside the ring to fight them. Then before the countdown ended you would throw them against the barrier, climb back into the ring and win the match. If you were good and timed it right you could do this to full health opponents and win.
That's exactly what I do. I've beaten the game in one credit that way.
Macho performing multiple backdrops to André... yeah, alright... pull the other one! lol
One of the better arcade games ever made... And yes the Bossmans sideslam was the best!!!
THE RING IN THIS GAME IS ENORMOUS.
That's 80s arcade wrestling for you
LOL poor André probably lost a lot of weight by running so much... LMAO @ Dibiase at 4:47 for just standing there, acknowledging there is just nothing that he could do against this apparently invincible team and admitting defeat by not interfering in the pin.
for my money, there isn't a better video game clothesline than the one macho king does in this game
@DaveJ721 - It was a dark day today when I heard the news. the "Macho Man" was an icon and my absolute favorite wrestler of all time - although I have to admit I stopped watching wrestling when the whole NWA thing started but I was a dedicated WWF fan and definitely RIP "Macho Man" you will be missed very much.
can't believe i never played this lol nice job with the bossman slam
took me forever to realize that Andre the Giant was saying "No one can beat a million bucks."
The promo around 3:13....WOW!
DiBiase sounds like he's from Captain Planet, or some shit like that.
I’d love to have seen Randy try to backdrop Andre!
Let's not forget Miss Elizabeth. She may not be a wrestler, but she is in the game.
I remember playing this at the chippy in the city centre. I was a wrestling fan back then and this game was brand new. It was about 30p per credit now i play for free, courtesy of mame of course.
WWF's golden days!
This is one of the best game's ever made
Hi Whaleman 11,
Awesome video, thanks for uploading. Question: Where do i find this game either for computer, video-game console, or even actual arcade machine? How did you show this (do you have it for either?)
I hope you can help. Happy Holidays.
sincerely,
Bevon53
@DaveJ721 Amen. Why wasn't Macho Man on WrestleFest? I could never figure that out.
damn, this brings back memories...
I used to play this all the time at the arcade in NY!
Simmons.. The king of links.
your so good doing the same move over and over AWESOME!!
i have played that game when i was 14 15 thousand times and always insert coin hahahahaha the greatest game ever we use to play that game and 4 kids as teams
RIP Macho Man and Big Boss Man
this game ruled the 90's
Half the people on here are NOT dead. Only The Big Boss Man and Andre the Giant.
Savage and the Bossman were my favourite team too :) Do you not use the Bossman's pinning splash? Both buttons over a downed opponent.
LOL @ Warrior losing to a one handed pin by Bossman, what a jobber.
dibiases voice didnt sound like that in the arcade version i played back in the day.
Actually, that is how his voice sounds in the arcade version.
@tomlott I'll be damned. I never knew that was the reason. Thanks.
What did Andre say? "No one can beat me, boop"?
no one can beat Megabucks
Damn the Warrior got handled.
Its a little clicker gadget thats used to re-light the gas hot water service when it goes out.. about the size of pen..
My finishing move on this game was to throw the guy into the ropes, then scale the turnbuckle and hit a dropkick on him, followed by the 1-2-3.
Kind of sad, actually. Savage is gone. Bossman is gone. Perfect is gone. Earthquake is gone. Andre is gone. Hawk is gone. Crush is gone. All dead now, and it hasn't been that long since this came out.
@MysticArksRevenge thats very true..if technos made dd3 in the arcade the way they did dd1&2 then it would be a much different story and technos had other great games in their library as well that were great like river city ranson/kunio kun, solar warrior ( a very underrated game) and renegade, which aklot of ppl dont give credit for.double dragon is my favorite game of all time but renegade was the 1st game to plant the seed for beat em ups and it came a year before dd.renegade 1986/DD1 1987
is it possible to kick or punch andre the giant? about the only offense i can use against him is to use an irish whip.
i remember this game, i played when i was a child :p
how do you do the bossman braker? can you help me to remember please?
3:12 awesomeness
Sidewalk slam an it's over!!!! Boss man!!!
@MysticArksRevenge other technos games that were good were mat mania/mania challenge, block out,U.S. Championship V'Ball, wrestlefest and shadow force.combatribes is another one thats a classic technos gem
Savage and Boss man???????
Never seen that tag team before
Where did you get a working version of this rom? The one I had used to work on my old computer, but doesn't on this one. Wrestlefest still works though.
Mach's flying clothesline rules.
The ring is huge!
thanks for the answer, my english is not very good, but i understand that the secret is in the boss man have a little stamina?
thanks.
If you body slam Andre 3 times I'd say you're a worthy winner... Go Macho Man...
Hey, how impossible is it to get this game? i was 6 when i was playing this arcade game... i notice that people have it in their computers and burned cd's for dream cast and PS2, where do you get this game at?
whats up with not letting Mach use the top rop elbow? the game not let you use the turnbuckle?
Bossman was my favorite to control. Also Andre the Giant was too tough to beat.
I used a hot water service zapper to get free games on the arcade version back in the day.. This game required some button bashing for sure..
Thats awesome! whats the trick to beat the CPU when you are grappling for position?
RIP Big Boss Man
thanks for posting!
That DiBiase voice hahaha
Good voice over on DiBiase
God knows how much quarters i spent playing this classic game.
WOW!! They even got the real characters to speak for them ;)
HOw can you not do at least one Macho Man elbow drop?
this game me and my friends an awesome time playin this and laughing more then ps3 or xbox
If you or your opponent have zero health left the partner will not help more than once.
Anyone know where you can play this online? Ive been searching for this game for a long time!
Lord Kosme Uh.....thanx...
Benny Forer I play it on my android smart phone using mame
classic game. this was my team. Either this one or savage and hogan
@whaleman11 So did I. At least 5 bucks every time I went to the laundry mat. They had this, Toki, and Street Fighter One. It was no competition. At least until the chinese eatery got Splatterhouse :)
love this game!!
i grew up playing this at my local video store
I spent all my money on this as a kid about 1990! Would love to own it! Anyone know where the arcade can be brought?
I love this game
@ioport As Kurt Angle would say......"It's True, It's DAMN True!"
Macho Man was clutch he was always stopping the CPU from breaking the pin. Then he made whooping Andre look easy. They should have had the Wrestlers do the one liners those voices were too funny especially MDM sounding squeaky compared to his normal voice. Who was voicing Ted Dibiase Mighty Mouse???
